Honestly, I usually skip kinetic novels cause I like to make choices for my female protagonist. But after playing this gem, you’ve convinced me this story is too good to need to make choices. Just sit back and watch the fireworks happen.

I feel much the same way. In part, I usually like making choices for the female protagonist because otherwise given the "choices" set for her within the game I often dislike the outcome and frankly end up disliking her as a character.

In this case though, the story is well told, and I can appreciate the hot sex scenes while still sympathizing with Vivian and her husband Hutch. Sure, I'm the kind that still dislikes a manipulative and sociopathic character like the husband's boss Christian, but what has happened (at least thus far) does not make me altogether dislike Vivian and Hutch. Regardless of Vivian having to come to terms with getting some unanticipated sexual enjoyment out of the situation, it's not a situation that Vivian and Hutch desired to be in and thus started as a circumstance that (to some extent) was forced.

Some questions I have asked myself pertaining to the possibility that Vivian had a wild past as a young woman is this: What was Hutch like back then, and what did he do in his younger days to attract her and win her hand in marriage? Was he very different in his younger days and mellowed out with age, or was he about the same kind of guy he is now and got Vivian to fall for him more in terms of being a stable and loving provider?

Whatever the case, with having been married for 22 years, Vivian and Hutch must have been quite young when they started dating, and they must have shared many passionate sexual experiences with each other along the way. Things have simmered down between them, as is the case for many couples married for decades and with children between them, but there's no way they would not have memories of many hot times they shared. Though we do not know how much time has passed, Vivian even referred to one instance where Hutch was like an animal in bed, which was recounted by her when she wore the nightgown out of guilt for him and offered him anal sex (which she said he had wanted for a long time). He turned her down due to being upset with her, but this hints that Hutch was actually more sexually adventurous than Vivian was in some ways, at least in terms of willingness to try anal sex.

there is no both way in this... we know that vivian has a tramp stamp... enough said. and the theory about hutch being a dominant type who mellowed out,there is one interaction between hutch and addison where addison just runs and hugs hutch like a lover but hutch doesn't even embrace her. this just show hutch as a guy who only in love with his wife even when there are younger beautiful women interested in him. this is repeated by vivian in the carpark when talking with christian. thats is y i say hutch didn't mellow out but just a loving husband otherwise we wouldn't even be having this vn... as he would just plain murder christian from what he saw in the backyard. my thoughts aside would any husband do what hutch did... i don't think so. even if the husband is into sharing/open marriage. and the dev has already laid some groundwork for future updates its just how he will build on those... there is enough foreshadowing in the story info as is.

Yeah, I see what you mean and the point that you are trying to convey here. It makes sense if you think about it from that perspective.

The only way where I see the 'Hutch mellowing out' theory working here, is that he simply just could have gotten accustomed to family man life/status over the two decades and counting of years being married to Vivian.

So he may have very well suppressed that "dominant/playboy" side of himself as he matured past his 20s going into his 30s and 40s, and that could explain why he didn't show much reaction to Addison's playful demeanour towards him at the office.

Hutch might have just gone soft for the sake of preserving his own family life. Either way, just some speculation on my end

Project Update

The next 24hrs of game time is done. About 1k images and animations. Most of the preview images already teased will not be in this release. Those will be in the third (v0.6). So a good chunk of that release is, thankfully, already done.

The more I think about it, the more appropriate 20% increments are as they are natural spots in the story to pause on. So next update will be v0.4 and deals more with Viv and her mindset. After that will be v0.6 and deals more with Hutch (but not exclusively) and the limits of what he's willing to endure (if there are any). v0.8 builds towards the final climax (hehe) and of course, v1.0 deals with the end and the epilogue.

Curiosity question: Are you guys more engaged, more interested, in this story because there are no choices? Are other games more boring because every possibility exists and there is no mystery? Or is MHB just an exception and choices are always a high priority?

I don't want to derail this thread talking about other games, but there's a few well know games I've given up on because it was just to many paths and, even with a mod, I got knocked off the paths I wanted and was too frustrated to try and start over. I will mention an exception, Chasing Sunsets, by name cause it's my favorite. It essentially had three paths, which was good, but I didn't feel one ending was significantly different than the others (girl A, girl B, or both).

I choose not to have multiple paths because every event plays into the next so multiple paths would require, literally, multiple stand alone stories. Hutch couldn't bust out of the bathroom stall and bitch slap Chris without rewriting every scene that comes later. If my story is just an exception to the 'multiple paths' rule, then I'm happy to be that exception.

Thanks for that amazing update information, to answer your question I am interested in your creation and what is your story then until now the effect of your style is with not words to describe just amazing. I think for multiple choices is too late and will take you more time. It is now not worth I will suggest to continue the way you have already started.
just one more question do you think that you would be able to release earlier than planned? I don't want you to rush it just that I have the feeling it could be possible now that you see the reaction of the players.
