Whether it is or isn't, is not the point, the point is that the Sunshine and Rain evening put her on the path to doing it. As L said quite nicely, it was the scene that allowed her to complete her fall from grace.
He also stylized this as a moment of liberation and self-discovery which in my opinion is a total over-estimation of this sex with two strangers.
I give you the possibility that from the perspective of narrative technique the dev could have meant to imply this nexus, that the one follows the other. I'm still not convinced because she herself makes clear that she sees the difference between that casual sex and her interest in the boss, that she needs the latter, not the former. So why would she transfer "insights" from the one to the other? And even if so it would be dangerous and delusional to do so.

I agree with you in that I don't think that Vivian's primary need is sexual. Maybe that was not clear in my comments. I also don't dispute that she was awkward with Rain and Sunshine. She was awkward with them, but I think she was at the bar looking for validation. When I said that she was looking for love, attention, affirmation, excitement, I was thinking more about validation than sex. Again, that might be my failure to be more clear. Vivian wanted to be picked up. There was a man who walked over to her table. She smiled at him when she thought he was interested, but then he laughed at her, and she became sad. I think Vivian wants to be seen as attractive, and she wants validation. She probably values validation from men she thinks are more dominant than she does from men who she thinks are less dominant (Christian vs Hutch). I think she went home with Sunshine and Rain because they validated her (Sunshine talked her up, was caring, listened to her problems and they both found her attractive). None of this justifies her cheating on Hutch with them. She should go to Hutch for these things, and if she had not betrayed him, she would get this from Hutch. I am not sure if this clarification changes your thoughts on my comments. If not, that is fine. I find your opinions to be very thoughtful and interesting.
Absolutely, we actually agree here. I already but belatedly saw that the moment I had already posted the message, when I read your sentence again which I quoted.

This thread is a gold mine for ignore list: plenty of brainless VolCel (Volountary Celibate, simply because they're full of shit and no human being can stand people like that) :ROFLMAO:

Spoiler:
To the reason I'm texting here did anyone else get the feeling Hutch was getting his Johnson sucked while talking to his wife on the phone? The scene right after she texts the boss she's done with him. I swear with how that conversation was paced from his side it seemed weird. Are we really sure Hutch hasn't been cheating this whole time as well?
[...]
I wouldn't be surprised going forward we are blindsided by some twist with Hutch. I could just be reading too much into that call but it was strange how Hutch's dialogue is broken like he's doing something else while talking to Vivian.
In my opinion you're right across the board. Christian will corrupt Hutch and the "business trip" is part of his plan: chapter 3 revolves around this ("spoiler" ;) ). Replayed this chapter and it's less erotic than first one but explain very well Vivian's past: small talk about tattoo at the hairdressing saloon, scene with Sunshine and Rain, dinner with boss talking about her love for expensive wine. This game is really well written, chapeau SC Stories.

Continuity error. Viv has her wedding ring on in the morning after Sunshine and Rain "help her out." She left the ring on her nightstand, so unless it can teleport, it shouldn't be there. Not complaining, just pointing out a funny little inconsistency that made me chuckle.
The restaurant scene made me chuckle too… especially when the background character didn’t move at all.

you need more relationship between husband and wife.
on this part i would have to agree a little bit.. i mean besides words they seem more like brother an sister and husband an wife .. i get that the starting point was vivian bent over the picnic table but besides her crying every ten seconds in the beginning .. not much anymore lol its hard to say ntr, cheating or cucking if they really just dont like each other anymore honestly. get divorced and tell the son to have condoms ready for when she visits his friends ..

I would lowkey rate you as a prophet if this ends up being true as I kinda dig it ngl. :ROFLMAO:

However, I think we're both just being a little bit too hopeful here tho buddy...:cautious:

Hutch is probably just here to suffer for our sins and drive the knife into himself...
After I finish the first chapter months ago my thoughts were Hutch was going to kill himself by the end, and I still do think this. It just seems so weird how passive he is. I get this is fiction, but the creator has done a good job of leaving bread crumbs. Like that tramp stamp in chapter one made me suspect she was into the free love thing, but I thought whatever maybe the creator is into tattoos. Then to my shock it turned out the tattoos meant exactly what I initially suspected in chapter 2. That call is giving me similar vibes. Plus the dev said nobody will be likable by the end, Hutch being a cheater from the beginning is just about the only thing at this point that would make him unlikable to me, he's literally done nothing wrong outside of thinking he could let Vivian mess around and get it out of her system. I don't like this genre much, but some of the better storylines come from this genre every once in awhile in my opinion. Especially when the plot isn't just "oh she's cheating on my why am I aroused seeing this". I personally still like the story even though it does nothing for me as a porn novel. It's like watching a guy park his truck on the train tracks get out while his wife is still in and then be shocked when the truck is totaled and his wife is gone. Nobody is this dumb or passive without a significant mental ailment.

Ooooh, I didn't see the thing about the Dev saying "nobody will be likable by the end"

Very interesting if true, as for me at least. That's already done with Christian and Viv after this update, I despise them both, and can't wait for something bad to happen to either of them... And I would say Hutch just more...idk. Dissappoints me? severly. Bro needs this next chapter, BAD. To give him something, because otherwise it literally just feels like such a nothing, passive character that could've been just watching grass grow the whole time and I would be like..."okay yeah, whatever Hutch...:cautious:"

Curious to see how he plans to make him non-likeable, because I guess you could say he already is with how passive he is, but idk. That feels kinda weak if that's how he intends to do it...

currently agree. But maybe in episode 3 or 4 we'll see Team Rain+Sunshine and Team Oriched and Snowflake or a Hurricane together.

very good summary.
Think if she reveals what she did to sunshine. Think sunshine would not be happy knowing that she gave her advice and ignored it.

Three kindergarten sentences and three smileys. Does mommy know you're still awake at this hour?

Don't know why so many are upset that Viv is a cheating slut that still proclaims love for her husband - I think we worked this out in 0.2/Chapter 1. I would hate it if it happened to me, but I'm sure there are similar scenarios out there in real life. "Stick to the code" - don't spoilt it. For those who would prefer a cheating husband with lots of women in tow, there's plenty of other VN out there in F95.
