i think you guys are missing the point here. the main reason why Viv is continuing to fuck around is because Hutch has cut her off from sex. isn't telling her he loves her when she tells him she love him. he doesn't believe she loves him anymore. that's my take on it anyway. and so she can't get fucked by her hubby so she is going to the sure thing Christian and anyone else that she can get. i think if Hutch gave her the dick at home, she wouldn't go looking elsewhere anymore..or maybe not as much...
That may come into it a bit, but I would say it's far from the main reason. If she got everything from sex with Hutch that she gets from sex with Christian (and now others), then it would be a fair argument, but it's about the sex she's getting, not just about getting sex.
On a side note, I think she absolutely has her reservations about it, but deep down she knows that Hutch still loves her. He's still there, which is the big one, but he does take her hand in Ch2, and he is starting to talk to her again, even accepting her date and saying he's looking forward to it (even if that was as an escape from saying "I love you" back). And almost the first thing he does when she gets in after he saw her sucking Christian in the car (and possibly saw her fucking too, but I think he'd walked away by that point), is ask if she's okay. No accusation, no passive aggressiveness, just a simple "Are you... okay?"
After he says that, she asks if he'll hold her. I think that says a lot actually, "I know I don't have any right to ask this... but will you hold me?" and he doesn't shrug her off, just accepts her moving in to spoon him.
