Except in this case there won't be a 6,7 or 8. The thing is written and SC has already confirmed 5 epusodes, with a big one for Hutch next a smaller 4 and then a smaller 5 dealing with the epilogue/ending.

Like any story there are trade offs. The pacing is fast, yes. But I want to tell the story and not waste production time on filler scenes just to give a sense of a slower, longer fall from grace. There is porn logic. Of course there is, it's a porn KN. Liberties are taken. Show me a movie where there isn't an unrealistic leap within the story. But you can go two routes. You can take the Jason Bourne route and have just enough fake to make the story worth telling but grounded in reality or you can take the Fast and the Furious route, fill the whole movie with just complete utter nonsense but throw enough action on the screen that people still enjoy watching it. I like to think I chose the former. There needs to be enough dialogue to tell the story but not so much to bore the reader. Enough side characters to break up the main plot but not so many that they aren't able to be developed or given adequate screen time. Everything is a trade off.

My point is I can't please all the people all the time. But I hope people will take MHB as it's meant to be give - as entertainment. In the end, hate it or love it, I hope people walk away having consumed something a little different, a little unexpected, a little fun.




Love that idea. Might have to change my ending now. Or, maybe, just stick with the Soprano style ending I already have planned.

Love your choice of the "former" path in presenting a story. Cinematic real with a touch of auteur license. Example of "latter" style in porn game story telling "Special Report;in the Web of Corruption". Red meat set-pieces little connection to reality. Each is legit porn,or any kind of entertainment just wish before starting a story one could know-reviews marginally helpful.

question: which way are we leaning ladies, and gents. in ep3, sc will give us

A: at the garden party, viv gets distracted. take your pick on the reason why: rando winked at her and she got weak in the knees. she spots addison and starts projecting her conscience on hutch again. she sees another pair of dirty panties on the ground. "damnit, again viv?" then proceeds with an akward display of trying to kick them under a table, but deludes herself into thinking shes slick. anyways, hutch see his chance. he races out to the car where viv left her purse. he doesnt have long so the search is frantic. "mega box of condoms...no!, anal beads wtf, she always told me no! lube, no! enema....?" then he spots it. a tiny glass jar, its contents? his balls.
no more subby hubby, its game on!

B:same start but when hutch pulls out the jar, he sees that decades with viv has turned them to dust. all hope is lost. vivs treatment of hutch (as weve already seen) continues to get worse. chris makes her admit that the reason she fucked him with hutch in the next room,at the office, and on the front lawn is because she enjoys humiliating hubby. ep3 ends in a chris/viv bdsm scene that includes chris whipping vivs ass with something that i swear looks like hutches spine.

for those who take these threads too seriously, its just a joke(mostly)

It helps that SC cleared up a few things for us. But as the forum moves on, more people will have not read it and the forum could slip into the old pattern.
