True, but she knows why Hutch is declining her any emotion, and I think she feels she deserves it. But that last scene in the bedroom undoes Hutch's emotionless stance (that's why I think it fails in the scope of Hutch's character, but that's just me).
That last scene between Hutch and Vivian (although I know why it was done), still feels out of character and flat to me, no matter how many times I see it.

Speaking hypothetically, let's say Vivian ends up leaving Hutch to fuck around with Chris. Unbeknownst to Vivian, Hutch has been seeing Addison on the side as sort of a "comfort". I.e., side chick sorta thing.

But then, if/when Vivian decides to leave Hutch for good, Hutch tries to get with Addison to console him as they used to, but then Maxwell comes along and conveniently steals Addison away from Hutch. I.e., by way of sexual blackmail/manipulation as how Chris initially did the same with Vivian.

So now both Hutch's wife/side chick are taken away from him, and he's left with no one

I know it's kind of an out-there theory/random thought, but was just spitballing some ideas in my head and this scenario popped out

I can't see Hutch getting out of his depression and going after Addison any time soon tbh, unless we see a massive change in him.
Maxwell obviously wants Addison and wants Hutch gone so he can try and swoop in there. I wouldn't be surprised if he was the one who fucked Hutch over with those accounts to try and get rid of him.

I'm referring to the scene after they "open" their relationship, up to and including where she asks for a promise it wont affect our relationship, and Hutch asks her to always come back to him at the end of the day.

Then they hug.

It's the only weak spot in an otherwise near perfect setup (for me). Had to suspend my disbelief more than normal for that.

Yeah tbh, that would be like the penultimate bad ending or something if such a scenario were to be implemented in-game.

Poor Hutch's mental state is already wearing thin. Wouldn't want him to suffer too much after all by losing both Vivian and a potential side chick in Addison

If the tables were turned to where the female partner instead saw the man doing this with another woman, I think she also would not feel like being very sexual or affectionate with him. IMO, Vivian would be acting like a real POS to emotionally damage her husband like she has and then use this as an excuse to justify escalating the sharing of sex/passion with another man/other men.

totally agree and she doesnt even get that reason he acts meek after the first 2nd and 3rd time he keeps distancing himself from her after the backyard scene or oppose christian. the only way i come to term with that kinda of behaviour is porn game logic. and if read the convo she has with christian in the carpark it has double meaning based on how the reader interprets it. like hutch will take everything away from me can be interpreted as its not my fault but hutch for being meek that it has come to this. and so on.

I think we will see this moving forward if Hutch does anything even remotely with Addison, she will take this as the ok to move things along and start fucking around. I think they will stay together in the end, they have been married for 22 years and never had a crisis until they wanted to fire the MC from his job. The problems have come together, the child is going to university, so the money is needed, and the DEV tells us in such a rude way what they had to pay for the entire happy life. It could even easily be the end that the boss is ruined and he will no longer be Alpha. Christian mentions a lot that he is the Alfa while MC is a loser until he proves his opponent in me. I would expect some jealously from the wife as her reaction when telling Hutch that he can "balance things out" she gets emotional, this could be all a show and complete bullshit on her part but she does seem to not want Hutch to get with anyone else, even though just a few hours before she was getting railed in the bathroom.

Yeah that struck out to me too. A this stage she is practically loving the sex she is getting with the boss. Perhaps she is just a "cake eater" and wants everything: the loving husband at home with the married life, and the lover outside home.
Perhaps she fears that if she is enjoying it developing some feelings for the other man, then it is all too possible that Hutch would too. Maybe she fears that he would be more likely to dump her, knowing what he does regarding her cheating and lying.

no offense but its like saying someone completely unrelated to the field you work in says that they know better than you and you going along with their suggestion is basically a recepie for disastar and thats what has happened in the vn.

She's not telling Hutch how to do his job in the detailed sense, she's telling him how to take a different approach to working with his clients. It's a personal skill, rather than a technical skill, you don't need to know how to do the job to know how to build relationships.

Note that she at no point tells him what to do in business terms, only what to do to get closer to the clients and to build rapport with them. Christian words it (if I remember rightly) as "consultancy work" - when you don't actually work for the company as an employee, but you're providing ideas and insight on how they can improve in general areas that require no specific business knowledge. Vivian knows people, that's the expertise she's providing.

It's one of those where it's difficult to see, because we're so used to what we currently have. I look at it though and think what choices/where? What would improve the game without completely derailing the story and taking it in a different direction. Ultimately, it's a linear story, and I think the only way to have (meaningful) choices in it would be to make it multi-path, so you'd have a loyal path, for instance, which would screw the overall story and require some massive side path to give another option for Hutch to save his job, etc. I think it's just too much here.

Either way, before that scene, I'm pretty sure Hutch had already noticed Vivian getting anally fucked by Chris in his backyard, so whether he noticed the panties or not, doesn't change the fact that he already knows Vivian/Chris has been fucking in the latter's backyard behind his back.

Yeah, he knows the fucking part, but she doesn't (at that point) know that he knows, so she's trying to hide the evidence from him. The anal part didn't happen though, it was just bending her over the table and taking her from behind. Anal is mentioned later on a couple of times, including between Christian and Vivian where they both make it clear they've not been there (yet?).

Isnt that hand on the back scene when the boss comes out and gives them a look after the bathroom scene? Maxwell knows what that means and leads everyone else out of the office so he can have a chat with Hutch, again with his manipulation tactics to convince Hutch that him banging his wife is a good thing.

They made it pretty clear that they don't know who Vivian is, so unless they managed to learn this information while Vivian, Christian, and Hutch were in the toilets, it can't be this. The scene did confuse me at first, but then I just took it as a coincidence of timing, and it just happened to be lunchtime. We see everyone go out to lunch at the same time on an earlier day, and I assumed that's what was happening here as well. Maxwell in particular still thinks Hutch is a dead man walking, so with Christian going over to him for a private chat, he probably expecting something about being fired (though I imagine Maxwell would want to stay around to watch that, and gloat).

I played the game 1 more time and I realized she betrayed Hutch she told Christian he didn't write anything on the paper.

I like that you can keep picking up new stuff, it somehow makes a kinetic story have replay value. I haven't yet replayed it, though I will do. I don't play games a second time usually unless it's to try a different LI path, for example, but this one just calls for it.
