Blacksamba I read your review of the VN and I have a question. You compared the relationships to medieval power dynamics (droit de cuissage), but I don't think that comparison entirely works, due to Christian not having a 'right' to Vivian, and the motivations of the characters being deeper than that. You also said the characters, their stakes, motivations, and context are believable, so how can the unfolding of events not be believable? That's like saying all the ingredients for this cake are good, but the actual cake just falls apart. I may need more insight into your thoughts because I feel your review is missing some key information to support your claim. I'm not against your review, I'm just curious.
