I mostly agree. But it has not only to do with the different media, but with the importance to distinguish the pornographic from the erotic and to hold on to the former in its own right and legitimacy. All justified efforts to upgrade and to refine the content mustn't lead to leaving the pornographic territory altogether and to shift the goalpost. The real challenge is to stay there but to do it better - not simply to reduce it or to tone it down. The justified demand for better storytelling for example has nevertheless to prove that it still results in pornograpihc stories which follow their own rules and standards. This is much more difficult than to just dilute and soften it.

As for me, I like all of these things and I consume them all depending on what I feel like at the time. I read books, comics, watch movies and series, and play games from all of the genres you mentioned and beyond. Taste is something that is constructed. It seemed to me that you got used to the predictable, the routine, and didn't allow yourself to experiment. And from the genres that you admitted to prefer, which I also really like, but it seems to me that you are a younger person, or that your tastes haven't matured to see other things, like a person whose palate matures over time, when you mention only these genres.Why not a couple then?
We just need to track their boss and mystery solved!!
To be fair, there's a ton of erotic novels/audiobooks/soap operas who are very juice with similar content that mostly attract female audience. Mostly men, mostly interact with this type of content if its available in game or porn vids.
Maybe I speak from a personal experience but I would preffer an action/adventure, scifi, war movie or sports over erotic stuff but when you find it in a game its more appealing me. If it was a film or a tv series I would never considered watching it.
I think it's a very attractive work. I think everyone's tastes will be different in the main character's appearance, the way the game progresses, the animation, etc., so I don't think it matters. What disappoints me the most is that most games that come up here start off this flashy, but then take too long to update, or they cut off contact and stop developing the game in the middle. I just hope this game doesn't end up like that.

My taste in porn games is similar to what you described. I can get into different kinds of games, but I too especially enjoy the ones where there is more plot/character development with sexual tension that builds into a passionate sexual encounter.
You're reminding me of back in the day when there was this rap song about wearing a white T (a white T-shirt), and then some rappers came out with a variant of the song about wearing a pink T, with their implication being that other rappers or guys who wear pink shirts are gay or fruity.
Well, might want to ask Billy Squire about pink shirts. He wore one in an 80s video and destroyed his music career. Different times, of course, but that notion persists today.
I like her "average" face appearance, it makes the story a bit more believable. The main female characters are usually 10/10 hotties in this type of games which is understandable. Having said that, I have a hard time imagining she would spend 22 years with someone like Hutch, when I take into account her perfect body and how their characters have been written so far.I like rendering ..

It is not something well accepted by more conservative people and within a more corporate cycle, even today increasing the number of people who at least have a tattoo, I say where I live. I who know and have met people who have piercings and tattoos do not seem to me that these things define their sexuality, sexual behavior and virtue. For my personal experience, women or men with tattooing or without the same proportion of more sexually liberal behaviors as more conservative people in appearance. Which I think in the view of some would be a prostitute, I saw a lot more conservative -looking women having behaviors who usually call a bitch than people with the appearance they define being a bitch. The difference that the most conservative are hypocritical, do more behind the curtains, or commit flawed acts that escape their drives. But I do not fully judge who wears mask, that the environment and customs greatly dictate the person's survival mode, sometimes one has to wear a mask, to get a job and have a social support from family and friends, and even to preserve their own life. You have to have the courage to be different from what is accepted about the appearance and worldview.

Good text, it gives a more realistic view, avoiding moralism and speaking pure reality. In the case of the game, it fits well into this idea of stepping out of stability; I think the couple's main problem in the game is their dialogue and having gotten used to a robotic routine. The only thing that took them out of their day-to-day life was the problem that initiates the game, and even by the end of this version, they are still not clear in their conversation. I believe that none of this would have happened if the husband and wife had more open dialogues and tried to escape a bit from the routine. I'm not talking about the couple turning liberal, but giving more attention than simply gifting a car to the wife. I think her need was more about feeling desired again.
What you are saying is playing into exactly that narrative the text posted above wants to break with: The wife's feeling that she deserves more and is bored.
Apart from that there is no evidence in the game for this, this is just the Western mainstream narrative for failed marriages.
I'm not just talking about risk and boredom, I'm talking about deepening ties, this comes both ways, not just from the wife's side, the husband also has to feel good. Honestly, from what I saw in the game it didn't seem like a completely light and honest couple on both sides, it seemed to me that there were barriers there, they were playing a robotic role: work, paying the bills, and having sex to say that they were a couple. The game shows how the husband doesn't have an emotional tact at work, everything is very logical, this is already a sign of the plot that he is someone like that in his personal life too, and the text of the game makes this clear in Christian's notes, he seems to me like a person who doesn't connect well emotionally, and his wife also seemed to be like that, she seems to be afraid of being honest even with herself, she doesn't seem to have confidence, and that's also on his part. This is true for older women. As older woman is getting, she's getting less and less compliments and interests from men(which for men is different). Competing with younger girls is exhausting and it's not easy constantly taking care of yourself to look and feel better just to be desirable again. Men are valued for status(money), women for youth which is hardcore unfair truth.
