It´s an honest question. English it is not my native language so i may have come out a bit rude??... If so, i apologise.
If a "game over choice" is consequence of previous choices or a lack of some sort of stat or whatever, then i find that very acceptable. It makes the game interesting, makes me wanna play again and take other choices, or grind a bit more to increase whatever stats i need to succeed in that choice. It is a lesson to be learned. It adds to the game.
But if instead said "bad choice" is there to just put a wall on the progress, and forces me to take the alternative to keep playing, then i find that pointless (not always but usually the case on VNs). It brakes the inmersion by forcing the player to load a previous save if possible, or in xtreme cases, play the game again from start, to reach that set of choices and this time take "the correct one". It takes the joy out of the game and becomes a task.
I ask because i played your game some time ago and i found it interesting despite mind control being a bit overused, the art threw me off a little tho. I dont remember any game over choice at that time and since there is new art i tought i'd give it a try.
Hope that makes it more clear. I usually don't interact with people from internet so i don't have too many chances to practice my English
