So with this version being a truncated version. Does that mean the only way to get the whole game is actually from SubStar/itchio/etc? Seems like a silly question, but also the nature of this whole site and all. It makes it bit confusing.

That depends on how the game or AVN finds it's way on this board.

There are some that are leaked to F95 by supporting paytreons.
There are some that are uploaded by the dev(s) themselves (who
sometines have only one version or sometimes only upload a free version).
There are some that are uploaded directly by the person who bought it on itch.io
(though I guess that there might be some risk for that person).

So for example if no supporter exclusive version is leaked, it can't be uploaded here.
