Nah. Please try to understand my comment better. Yes, you spend time creating AI art, but the effort needed is much less than when you create scenes in a 3d environment. So you get much less tired when you spend that time. Which gives you the possibility to work easier, more continuously and create more images.
Buddy I've worked with DAZ Studio and Blender in the past. I've also been dabbling in AI creation for the past ~4 months. DAZ and Blender mainly to get a better picture on what it takes developers around here to create renders so my opinions on their development time isn't coming out of nowhere. AI creation after I've found this game because I thought it'd be fun to create some fanart.
Yes, working with DAZ&Co is exhausting in a way that it requires more attention and active work setting up scenes, making clothes fit, lighting etc. whereas AI creation is more passive writing prompts, adjusting settings and burning through tons of images until you get one you wanna progress with (usable for post-work etc).
But both these creative processes eat up your time. You're not going to work 20 hours a day with AI just because it requires less active input from the person behind the screen. I personally find it equally exhausting, just in a different way. But ay, that's just how I feel about it.
I'd absolutely agree with that, but the wait time for chapter 3 was already not good and too long for an AI game, so it doesn't make sense to base the calculation on that. If he had released chapter 3 in 1 month and released this in 1.5 months, I would have said totally ok.
Following that logic, you're of the opinion that the entirety of this projects development no matter the chapter was going too slow because Chapter 02 took a month but had less content than Chapter 03. Chapter 03 had less content than Chapter 04 is going to have, plus animation and whatever other feature.
You know there's more than just creating images aswell, right? Coding, writing, planning, post-work...All of which is getting MORE when the Chapters become bigger, which every single Chapter was bigger than the one prior. There's really no point in discussing this any further if you think this game is just slow from the start. Oh well.
