Yes, absolutely is. You can create random ass images with AI, and you can create quality images via the use of multiple tools and techniques involved. That alone is much more time consuming, and that's without him even touching photoshop - which he's doing a ton of postwork. All the neat transitions, split-images with fancy borders that give the whole thing a comic-book look, image corrections (he has a background in 3d-design) and god knows what. All that and more... It's so much more effort compared to a simple prompt with a handful of loRA's and batch generation going for a hit or miss approach.

Abyss' posted a pretty good timelapse video showcasing how much work and steps can go into a single image, and that is without postwork in photoshop:




The reason he's up there is because of the quality he's able to produce. Consistency with AI can be difficult to achieve, but that's not really why the rework was required. He's decided to change some scenes on how they play out, not necessarily because of the art (though a couple images were in need of a touch-up IMO). Though that goes back to the quality control I've mentioned before and it's a learning process.


I mean.. CG's doing it the way he wants to do it. Would be pretty entitled to tell him how he has to do anything, especially being a pirate. His subscribers are happy and he's following his vision for the game. He's not lying, he's not making any fake promises or Patreon goals that are never followed up on, so there's hardly anything one can be mad about. Even subs get their money back if they're not happy. That alone is so rare in the AVN industry, I respect it a lot.


See my above statement. His subscribers are happy, and those who aren't can get a refund. What you want and what he himself and his financial supporters want or are okay with might be two different things. This is getting into the realm of pure entitlement. Like, you can obviously have/share your opinion, but we can't tell him what he has to do.

I take the changes as something that will make the consistency of good writing easier and the flow of character progression better, he kinda backed himself onto a corner with the recent chapter update. this'll make it so quality remains consistent easier.

The new version is better. The changes for Anya are good, Maki in addition is nice, but primarily the changes for taking out Luke and replacing by another actor - and the new ending between Ari and Eric does fit the story much better. Well done

But mb, as we've been speculating lately, she will show some more photos to Erik in the "reclaiming" process or he will find out their is more on a webpage, because what they did with Ari is x100 more "potent" IMO. Just to balance the scale.

After this upd. it's almost confirmed that Vi is going wild in the next interaction, while I really enjoyed jolt of emothions from previous version, it was logical decision to tone the whole thing down a little, whether I like it or not so much. It would've been hard to make something later to contest with that version.

Right now there will not be anything avoidable, as experience comes, maybe one day I can create something more complex, or hire someone, sorry.

Thank you, developer, for being up-front about the kinetic trajectory of your product. I wish more developers would be this transparent up-front.

While I won't shame anyone for their kinks like cuckoldry, etc., I don't share or appreciate them so I won't be attempting your story. Also, I tend to not like trajectory stories and instead prefer games where my choices have meaningful impacts upon the outcomes. To me, that's the "game" part...

I will keep an eye out for any other products you produce, though, because I like where your head is on setting expectations.

I guess part of it is what you are expecting. There are a lot of expectations around this novel it seems and they are all diverging hard of late. I don't think either of the extremes will get what they want. Vi is definitely going to have sex with other men, it is a given. But I do think her relationship with Eric will still be maintained and not in a cuck fashion. So if folks are hoping for that, there may be disappointment. That said, those that think any time she has sex without Eric in the room is cuckoldry and forbidden, well they will likely be disappointed as well. The will swing, they will explore others separately but seemingly as a part of pushing one another and enjoying their relationship. Now, do I always "get" that. Nope, but that is what I see this as being.

Lastly I will state that I do not think Eric is rapidly outpacing Vi. The Ari scene is his first sex scene with another woman. Cha5 was his first non VI BJ. The most he has had was the handjob from Maki prior to that. Now, if I had my way VI would have had her first non Eric BJ in the alley in Cha5 but that ship has sailed. However I am sure her full scene are coming. I just don't expect that she is going to separate from Eric as a part of that, from past Dev comments. But who knows, they could always pivet.

I think the changes improved the chapter, but I am still in the camp of worried the story might stall out, perhaps just because for me this chapter had only a sex scene with my least favorite girl... But perhaps the next will deliver with some of my preferred ones lol.

I'm big fan of Anya, Violet and Maki so anything with them is great, if we finally move beyond just blowjob after blowjob (maybe it's just because I'm not a dick guy but, I dunno I don't get that much out of seeing a dick sucked over and over).

I'm cautiously optimistic for ch7, though it'll probably be a while before we see that...

I agree with most of what you're saying. It's just the back peddling that's disappointing and the claims of not being influenced by part of the fan base, when clearly that's the case. Hopefully this is just a one off and not an indication of future inconsistencies.
