That's the game feature itself man. There is no stuck image on your screen.
You can press Q for the family images to be hidden; and for the game menu icon not showing, that's the dev plugin addon at fault.
Has nothing to do with the mods

3 Yes, but a little explanation: first i just downloaded 0.90, played for a bit and ran into some issues, so i have deleted the game (and the save). Back then i remember seeing that sparkly locker and interacting with it. I have redownloaded the game, looked for fixes to things and found the unofficial patch, which ive applied, but as ive said above - i dont remember if i interacted with the locker or not this time around. Am i really fucked now because of this? Restarting the game now is next to impossible, because:
