I had the same problem and I found how to proceed. You have go to around the pool to spy them from their back.

I can find the gym the art, music, math but where is the history class ?? i looked on all the floors ground floor was only cafetaria bathroom, principle offic etc..

After entering school, pick the stairs to the right and you'll have the history class in front of you.

It's the class with the book icon from the main entrance it is up the stair on the right and dead ahead

Did BoN already comment on specific or any complaints regarding the revamp? Most notably the story- and character-arcs. Everything else is either rather fine or can be fixed.
