Dev can't due to legal reasons, out of his control. You can read somewhere on this thread or his socials for his reason why. Most of us understand and still support him regardless if released or not.i thought thy were working on the game i guess not

It's kinda funny, nothing in the rules as written state that completed games can't, won't, or shouldn't, get set to abandoned after the time period of no new content.
Like if we're going to be REALLY strict here, a lot of completed games should be set to a abandoned, no new content for years.
