To improve the backers' experience, since they greatly improve mine with constructive criticism, debugging, media, ideas, and much more.
People don't like doing extra work to deliver a free release only to be told they don't work hard enough. If you call self-respect butthurt, I am inclined to believe you are cut from the same cloth as the $landlord.

What? Dude all I'm saying is that your game WOULD be more popular if it had more images/videos. Whether you care about that or not doesn't change that fact.
I didn't intend to turn this into an argument with the dev and am more than happy that he (or she) took the time to read what I suggested and even replied. I agree with what you're saying that it may be better for popularity and lead to more exposure but exposure doesn't account for jack if it doesn't lead to more supporters. And I'm not a supporter so I'll leave it at that.

Nah it was me that started and continued it. I just got embarrassed to see the topic linger for more than a page or two which wasn't my intent so thought I'd try to nip it in the bud. Dev gets enough flak from people who obviously enjoy his content enough to make suggestions but without enough humility to take no for an answer (my self included).

Yes, that's why text-based-only-games are so popular on this site. I don't want to get into this mess. It's dev's call, this is his game. If he wants to focus on a niche genre then good for him.
Except you DID want to get into this, which is why you felt it was necessary to add your opinion to the others railing against MyObliviousDeveloper for the choices he's made in making this game. If it rankles SO MUCH, find a game you prefer, and stick with it. You'll be happier in the long run.
I just said it has potential and what a shame it isn't going my desired direction. The game originally is a chyoa dot com erotica and it was text-based only. The dev wanted to branch out and make adult games, I originally thought he was going to focus more on graphic but unfortunately his patrons vote otherwise. There's not a single railing about what I wrote. You can stop being the nut hugger now.
And here I thought that was a self-insert. Accepting money to write erotic story for dudes and all...But hey! keep it coming. Keep up the "Good" work
