I tried to keep it formatted and easy to read my initial impressions of the first 9 chapters of the game but I do apologize for the length as there is just a lot to cover. At the end of the day, I'm just venting and giving my opinion, if that's something someone is interested in, great, if not, well then at least I got what I wanted off my chest and will move on.

One of the big plot points is who they are at the start of the game isn't who they really are.

Sweet Allie never actually existed, she's a reincarnation of one of the MC's former clan and Xanthe's lover. Their personalities at the start isn't who they are meant to be and Allie now is the start of who she really is.

So sweet Allie will never make a comeback because sweet Allie was never real.

What I meant by "possibility" is that it was a possible line of thinking for Holly (although realistically it's a certain line of thinking for her). Marcy is absolutely at risk and Holly feels like she's the only thing standing between Marcy and Jerry and Jerry's friend/associate. I think Holly's thinking about both of those things and obviously is devastated at the prospect of anything at all happening to her half-sister Marcy.

Yeah, many have had a lot of criticisms of Cheepshot's consistency in characters and cheap plot devices to contrive twists to the story, including I myself. That would include things like having someone suddenly act out of character or failing to learn at all from past mistakes — just to move the plot in a particular direction. But clearly either he never reads these comments (very possible since I don't think he's on F95) or he doesn't care what we think (also very likely, as many devs are that way and most people here aren't their patrons).

I suppose I should already be numb to problematic scenes like the one with Holly at the end. It's happened over and over, with Karen first, then later Linda, with Connie and Mildred, and even Demi to a lesser extent since she was also victimized and later suffered Stockholm Syndrome. It doesn't get easier seeing Adam's consorts being assaulted and victimized over and over, and at times I wish Adam would not wait too long before actually doing something. For a guy that has inexhaustible financial resources, there is no reason he couldn't try to buy Holly's 'debt'.

Then again, we all know the debt is not the real issue, but instead having attractive, young women manipulated into thinking they have no options and find themselves in this rut. I get Holly is the latest to hesitate asking Adam for help, but this is getting ridiculous. At least with Linda, we never actually saw her sexually assaulted or manipulated into having sex with other men, but that ending where Holly is just laying there...taking it, and even Marcy not willing to urge Adam to save her sister despite them both wanting to be with their family is just frustrating. They both can't seriously be that naïve to believe Jerry will ever let them go voluntarily.

Absolutely. You would think after the first 4 women close to him who were in a similar position, he would take to heart the same advice he gave Karen, Linda and Cleo about Arawn being dangerous and to always be alert for anything out of the ordinary. The dude literally hears on speaker the threatening phone call and after offering his help, he just takes Holly's rejection at face value because he trusts his consorts that they can take care of themselves....contrary to all the times he has had save/rescue them over....and over....and over....and over again!

The reason I can't bring myself to give a shit about the Holly thing is for the reason i've covered before, it's happened too many times in this game.

Holly has probably the only realistic situation that could hit home to people and should have me feeling sorry for her but all I could think was "fucking seriously". 6 times. 6 times we've had to save a woman in trouble, 7 if you want to get technical and throw Holly's sister in too.

What makes it worse, and the reason I stopped giving a shit about the women in trouble, is once again the Mc was made to look dumb as fuck.

He hears the threat on the phone, knows she's in trouble and for the 4th time did absolutely nothing and let someone suffer.

Why 4th?

Allow me to fill in the blanks.

Convict escapes that MC and Karen put behind bars. He knows she's in danger, knows the police are worried and yet does nothing to keep her safe just lets her carry on.

MC notices something on the roof the day Demi was kidnapped, he thinks to himself "i'm going to check it out" .... right at that moment he's offered a fuck so rather than check out the fucking danger he decides sex is a better option.

Let us also not forget that while both Karen and Demi were kidnapped the Mc did nothing and carried on fucking his harem. It only lasted a few days with Karen but it lasted 7 FUCKING MONTHS with Demi.

Then his cousin escapes a life of being pimped out and abused. The cousins abuser turns up and tells the Mc he's going to take her back. The Mc knows she's in danger and knows the guy is looking for her so what does the MC do to keep her safe?

ABSOLUTELY FUCKING NOTHING.

He lets her walk around town on her own so she gets kidnapped.

Now we have Holly being threatened and abused. MC hears the threat, knows she's in trouble and what does he do ....... gets up and walks away.

He wasn't directly involved in Morna and Xanthe being in the shit but the constant damsel in distress bullshit has got old.

So no, I can't bring myself to give a shit about Holly because it's been done to death and i'm bored of that particular plot point.

So much lore that can be covered in 2 realms and a massive war going on and this is the storyline the dev keeps running back to.

The worse part is we know it's not the end because we know Parthena and Red Queen are going to get taken, the writing is on the wall at this point and this is the only story the dev knows.

I apologise for the rants but it's fucking infuriating that there is so much going on in the game that can be covered but the dev ignores everything fucking interesting to have yet another women needing to be rescued by an MC that can't keep his women safe.

No wonder his clan was wiped out, he's fucking useless.
