Curious why the MC calls his Mom Cassandra when talking in person after returning home yet the phone text with her earlier in game she was called Mom?
And yes I have the patch installed.

well while this feels incestious it isn't so and incest doesn't change anything big. i played some updates w/o patch and didn't feel any different.

Then who is the MC's actual birth mother?
Is Cassandra his step-mom or just his Dad's ex-girlfriend?
Rather confusing without any actual backstory.
Doesn't make any sense when they both try to resist the supposedly taboo stuff that isn't actually incest.
It just makes everything seem fake and maybe Aunt Julia isn't really his Aunt either.
Just wondered why the game has the incest tag if there isn't any.

Maybe the MC just believes Cassie is his real Mom but doesn't know the truth.
And Cassie plays the part because she doesn't want to tell him the truth yet.
Same with Aunt Julia & Lori.

The other thing I was wondering was the Extra Content X-Mas Special event Cassandra had beautiful blonde hair.
Then later on in the game her hair color changes suddenly without any explanation as to why.

Kinda wished she still looked like that and didn't change it.

Sounds like just some lines got missed. Find the Day 13.rpy (at least it should be 13 or might be 13a/13b) and open it with any text editor and change the line of dialogue to whatever suits your taste/need, you can do this with them all. You can also do this for a lot of games.

Are you using incest patch from the walkthrough mod? If not, you should use that. I think its a better one. There is nothing about "ex-boyfriend's son" there. That's a line from censored version.

There is nothing in the game which would be implying that Cassandra is not MC birth mother.

It doesn't make any since to me that she is anything other than the Dev's mom. Even if she is only his step-mom. Many kids call their step parents mom or dad. And, usually call that parents siblings uncle or aunt.

I'll switch over and hope it doesn't break my saves, lol.

It works properly now without the strange text from Cassie.
Now she replies as his Mom so it's way better and less confusing.

At that time Cassie was not Dad's ex yet because they break up later in the game after their trip.

I haven't gotten that far yet. But that makes even less since than her being his mom. What kid (even if the MC is 18) stays with the dad's ex if she isn't his mother? I've never heard of that ever happening IRL.

They did it that way in College Kings too, and it didn't make a lick of sense in that game either.

Something is wrong then.

Make sure you are using patch that match the mod; other than that one, won´t work it.

Use the separate MP_I_patch that's from the ScrappyMod Walkthrough page instead.
The first one I was using had the text all messed up with the ex-gf.

I think the censored version is made to not show any incest so she's more like a landlady, lol.
His real Mom would either be dead or left his Dad and we wouldn't know when that happened.
The MC could have grown up with only his Dad's GF as a Mother figure so they formed a closer bond.
Then it would make more sense for them staying together after breakup since he hated his Dad anyway.
Can't go with the step-mom thing because that's considered incest too even though it isn't.

I've seen other games do it but it was a bit more detailed and she was like a mean step-mom bitch gold digger.

Since I keep the games downloaded zip files I just moved my saves folder to desktop and deleted the game.
Then re-installed it with the scrappy mod and his MP_I_patch instead.
The moved my saves folder back into the game folder.
Load whatever save you want and continue.
I noticed more text with Julia being correctly called Aunt Julia and his cousin Lori too.

Oh, I know. I almost always use the I-patch's when available. And I figured out about the discrepancies in the first one pretty fast. Scrappy has yet to fail me with his mods, so I use his I-patch for sure.

When the MC was sent to Aunt Julia's house he caught Cornell fucking Julia like a dog on the sofa.
Should have been: "I've had no sex with him for 18 days".

Sorry but the sex part should have been left out of the conversation.
