I liked this update, I didnt LOVE it, but this is still my favorite game in development right now. Maybe it's because the last couple updates were so big and had choices different choices, but this one just had me kinda feeling like I wished there was more.

Yea, maybe innocent was the wrong word choice here. There's just a lot of scenes where he seems unrealistically clueless. And if he's experiencing cognitive dissonance about his choices, his thoughts and comments seem to be "this is weird, or bad, I wonder what I should do... I'll go with nothing and hope it works out?" But my comment/reaction was more about this last update I guess; in previous updates I do remember him having more agency.

I will say one thing that has annoyed me is a lot of inconsistency in his thoughts, there seems to be a fair bit of cognitive dissonance, but I don't think most of it is intentional so much as it is easier to make him sort of "meh" about everything for ease of writing. He seems to be rather wishy washy because he essentially goes with the flow pretty much regardless of your choices, he pursues the same women regardless of your choices, sleeps with most of the same women, he'll think one thing at one moment and act in the opposite way in the next. It becomes somewhat confusing but upon replaying what I realized it has more to do with the fact that while there are branching paths there's a very large number of commonalities between each "route" which essentially means he can't have too strong a personality in any one direction or it would require more writing for each individual path.

I just finished playing v0.7 and was looking for the "N" word but didn't find it, maybe it was earlier in the game as I picked up from my last save. I usually delete anything even remotely related to NTR and never return so it must not have been too bad. I would like to note that the sister is a slut and would not be a romantic choice for any real man but then again the MC is not a normal man... his character doesn't know what a weight bench is, thinks whiskey is too strong and burns his throat, etc... way too girly and I have no idea why the dev would think so many women would find him attractive.
The story is fairly interesting and about the only thing worth while in this game as the renders are horrific. You would think with a story about photography with discussions about lighting that better lighting would have been a consideration in the renders, they would have taken less time to render and looked a lot better as well.
The only reason the name My Sister is in the title is to pull from the incest genre as far as I can tell for this game and with the presence of Nikki as the character it should be called My Sister the Slut instead of My Roommate or drop the whole sister/incest gig and go with My College Roommate the Slut.
The MC needs a wingman to teach him how to be more manly or he needs to realize he's gay and move the game to a new genre.

@jezeru Thanks for your comments and 1 star rating. I'm glad no one really pays attention to the ratings here anyway. I'm sorry I didn't write Taylor to be a masculine, alpha male. He's a nerdy 18 year old kid - That's literally the first sentence in the game description. Girls find him attractive because (1) he is very good looking (no homo) (2) his lack of awareness is endearing and (3) it's a porn game and it would be really fucking boring if he didn't get any action. Nikki being a slut is also in the game description and has been discussed at LENGTH on this forum. Maybe you didn't read the game description or this thread? Sorry the game isn't what you thought it would be, but I don't think I deceived anyone with the game description or my comments here or anywhere else. I've been pretty open about what this game is going to be and what it isn't.

And sorry you thought the renders are "horrific". I thought they are pretty good. Which ones do you think are the worst? If you would have said the animations are horrific, I'd agree with you, but the renders themselves aren't bad.

And finally, the word "sister" is in the title because Taylor and Nikki are brother and sister. The word "roommate" is in there because they live together. That's kind of the premise of the story I wrote.

You can have your opinion and that's fine and it's your right to leave a bad review if you feel that my game is that bad, but it sounds like my game just isn't for you. And that's okay. I'm making the type of game that I would want to play and creating this for fun. Luckily, it seems like most other people are enjoying it as well. Best of luck making your game.
