Dev has the MC making the DVD joke and shows smartphone implying it's current day. But then has MC getting cut off from the rest of the family because of hidden...letters?? Social media and messaging apps don't exist in this universe? At least make it 90s or something to make it believable.

But even then they could have just picked up the...phone.

As far as maids go, that is the first one I did miss. She is neither a breeding drone, 'Daddy' Slave nor part of some weird Conspiracy to create the the UberMC.
I'd write her a recommendation and tell the distant mom to hire her. She can actually do housework and has spare time for dating which means she is the Scotty to my domestic Enterprise. Just keep her under pressure an it gets done in time.

Seems to be an issue that cropped up when Building the project. Fortunately, it is fixable, and I'm re-building the project now. Thanks for the spot! For now, if you want to move on, you can either go back and not talk to that character, or keep hitting 'ignore' , and then the problem should go away.
