I think that communication is key..
If you're late for an exam but communicate it ahead of time, you might be able to make it up and keep good repertoire.
If you don't communicate it, then both of those will be unobtainable outcomes.

If you aren't able to pick up your great great great great grandchild from soccer practice, because you have to attend your great grandchild's funeral, then as long as you communicate it ahead of time, no one will be mad.

Have you tried messaging XR Games? He/she got fever and everything needs to be delayed for a few days until he/she recovers. That includes Parody World, another game.
