Faerin's games feature a very well-developed storyline that captivates and catches the players' attention.
Some may not like his style, but many others who seek a plot fall in love with the subtlety and development of the character throughout the story.
I'm a big fan of Faerin's work and I consider Man of the House a masterpiece and I have a lot of expectations with his new project.
If you play with another look you will understand the beauty of his games.

on Windows 7 install Visual C++ 2015 (x86). If you already have C++ 2017 or newer uninstall them and install Visual C++ 2015 first, then you can install C++ 2017 and newer.

On Windows 10 update to build version 1909.

I am concern that Faerin is trying to reinvent the wheel. You had huge success with man of the house, and if you would take that format and put it here you will have even more success. You had a nice balance of tease, erotic, porn and story with each update of man of the house. i wish you luck and i hope it will get better.

I don't think I'm trying to reinvent the wheel. What I am doing, is trying to challenge myself to improve, by adding more polish, interesting gameplay and better looking graphics and animations.

For me as a dev it is very important to make a game that excites me, in order for me to be able to work on it 7 days a week, for 2+ years straight.

Of course, all of this is highly subjective and as I have said before, I understand that this type of game might not be for everyone. For instance, if you want to play a straight-up VN, or want to rush into the sex scenes, this game will not be for you.
However, if you are open to trying something different, I think this could be just as enjoyable as MotH and perhaps even more (especially in 1-2 updates when I start adding actual content).

I can't say for the others, but when I look for a game I want that goes beyond pure sex and has a storyline that shows the evolution of the characters' relationships until the eventual sex. 9/10 games don't even worry about talking of the characters, they basically say hello and already go out having sex. (if it's going to be like this I have a girlfriend or watch a porno movie anyway)
The most fun, in my opinion, is the game of conquest and corruption of the characters.
Faerin games serve this kind of audience, as well as Foot of the Mountain (who accompanies it every update does not see the time to have sex with Melinda)
So I don't even think he intentionally does the games that way to please someone, but it's the style that pleases him and motivates him to continue.
I'm glad to have a Dev who thinks of games like I do.
I won't wish you good luck because you're good at what you do... Success again on this project.

Until I saw this game my favorite was awam. Some players want to see porn in the 2nd update. There may be some erotic scenes, but it takes a long time to have sexual relations with people in the immediate vicinity and to break this taboo. ( Please continue slowly for action in family. Be realistic.) So I think that at least 10 updates are required for sexual intimacy with someone in the family. This game excites me very much. So thank you so much Faerin

Yes, this is a known bug and has already been fixed. You may run into the same bug if you try to renovate the kitchen after you've renovated the lobby.

As much as I do like VN style stories, it's really refreshing to play a real game with mechanics. I loved Man of the House and have high hopes for this as it progresses.
