You get a chance of getting a skill with a Star beside it, which is a 10% bonus. I was going to pick the basic 5% Yoga boost once, but I tabbed to the other menu then back again and I got the "Yogi" 10% one as an option.
You can also click on "decide later" and reclick the exclamation mark, this will also reroll the skills. Probably a bug, because otherwise you could just give all possible options to choose immediately. A welcome bug though because to me both the specific "star" cards and the power napper are worth more than the rest. Especially the "maintenance" stars of Kay, Amber, Hana, and Laura give you twice the amount of time before something can happen.
The 5% bonuses are nice but strictly speaking they are not needed (you can manage Sofia without them and with 5% to spare, even if it means card switching a lot - provided you have all cards, items, and upgrades - the nun gives you 10% wiggle room if in parallel, the rest is easy). The "+10" of the second trait level is too expensive, since you mostly end up at x5% in the endgame anyway and guests just increase in 10% intervals. So IMO the best combo is Power Napper, Star Trait, one +5% for each non star ability. Julia as the only one with only one "guest satisfaction" ability gets kitchen II because there's nothing better for her IMO - with Ambers reduction of housekeeping level, she doesn't need better cleaning skills.
Sorry, if you would play this without the vn and sex part and would have the time of your life thats fine by me i would not.
But even then i would like to be able to play this without having to use the keyboard.
I would not play this without the lewd parts, no. But I would also not play this without the game part. The lewds alone lose to YouPorn every day, with all due respect to the creators.
(Also, but this may be a personal thing, I can use two hands for gameplay. I will get ideas for when I will have one hand not using the keyboard, but I don't directly fap to these games, I just enjoy the game and fap later.)
Do you know if farins games will all be like this one in the future? I guess not if youre not him and even then that is far fetched man.
As has been said, cold_arctus worked closely with Faerin for quite a while and will certainly have a better understanding than you or me what may or may not happen. There's some others who may not "speak for Faerin" but will have a good idea of what they're talking about, like Sycho or S3pHiroTh. You would know that if you were watching the threads closely.
And then you would also know that Faerin is quite transparent with what his general ideas in game making are. No NTR by any definition of the word. But some gameplay. He isn't exactly making a big secret out of that, so even if cold_arctus were "just a forum regular" he might know some stuff you don't.
