"There's a bunch of angels in heaven. Suddenly they got a disease that made their wings black. Then through magic they cured it but then invented racism. Then for some reason they made smartphones probably because the dev found a renpy phone script to put in the game. Even though they had advanced stasis pods, and are angels that are magic, they made phones. We also introduced a bunch of characters, only to fake kill them off, then actually kill them off ten seconds later. Then MC says he's tired of being a spoiled rich kid so he goes to live with someone else because reasons. Also he got caught cheating on his girlfriend he somehow had the time to get when there was LITERAL WARS going on and his dad, who is god, was killed."
The amount of information sneezed at you in the opening is ridiculous. I have no idea who anyone is, I don't know what faction is doing what. Suddenly someone named North killed god, se was never mentioned before doing this, and because everyone is dumb they started killing fallen angels? And they just lore dump to infinity.
This is advanced stupid... This is supposedly a "prologue" but I already feel like there's two better stories they could have told just from the first little preamble.
You don't know these characters, but suddenly they just want sex with MC? And MC wanted sex so bad he's already cheated on someone who he now lives with? Whoever wrote this has a terminal case of ADHD. You get dutch angles of them and how much MC knows them sort of, and are expected to give a shit? I guess I can see why only two souls gave in to review this.
And to make it even funnier, if you click the "special render" button it breaks the game and you have to restart. So what little has been done to do more than a basic renpy game is already broken. Nice. All to amount to SLOW MOTION sex scene because no one checks their animation speeds before slapping them in a game.
And I ultimately just gave up. I didn't even get to the sandbox, I don't think, it's so boring. It get to the point you're given so much sensory overload from what's supposed to be going on it flips to actually being boring. Because, just wait! MC now suddenly has a chip in his brain from his father that has the personality of a SERIAL KILLER?! My god. What a typhoon of plot points.
