Oh no, it's actual mind control, is just in small ammounts, as in a couple scenes, and not from you, since you are totally powerless withing the context of the game.
Is like the pregnancy tag, is up there despite having little to none relevance in the game.

Ha, paralysis/binding doesn't really fall mind control since it is more forceful. Mind control ain't that forceful since it clearly pretty much either puts a person in a trance where they have no consciousness on what the hell is going on that moment. I know my stuff.
Anywho, there is mind control in the game. Just not coming from your character so you have no direct control on the extent of the manipulation so don't expect issuing any orders much.
Edit: Oh and, no worries. You ain't the one being mind controlled.
okay im kinda fine with me not being able to do much with the mind control i just dont want that oh no i cant move my body what is going on ? XD since i really dont see that as mind control in my head mind control is as you said either putting someone in a trance or as the name suggests controlling someones mind to make them believe something wrong is normal or fine
but ill take a look at the game anyway

I can't help you with the android question, but the only way to get money (other than console commands) is by working on an article for Gamehub in your room. Internet > click on Gargle's search tab > Gamehub. You can only do this once a day. You can also get money when you first open the safe for the first time.

Later in the game, you can also buy a fishing rod at the Lake and you will be able to fish once a day. It costs 10 bucks each time and based on random result, you will be able to sell the catch, usually more than that...
