You'd be setting yourself up to posting 9 updates each week (You know, when you get to Book Nine and you have to make sure all your fans, whether they play all the books or not, are still paying attention ...)

Some thoughts to clear the air about it:
Pros:
- Cleaner thread. Less cross talk.
- Simpler list of links.
- Having a "Completed" tag in your catalog.
Cons:
- Loss of the community built here. Some may follow, some may not.
- As Elhemeer said, x number of threads to control, update and keep up with. Not only for you, but for all of us.
- Breaking the continuity. By this I mean that what lore we built around the story, it will have to be exported or dropped.
- If this isn't a New story, starting from 0, it should remain together.
Besides those, some more personal views, the thread is already in many people "Watch" lists, in interest Lists and even on collection Lists. All of them can be added to, but, if kept in the same thread everything flows perfectly. Also, if the story continues it makes sense to keep it all in the same place. It would make sense to separate it, if there were significant breaks or no continuity.

Book 2 is actually a three Act story, with "The Inferno" as Act 1, Act 2 is "Purgatorio", and Act 3 is "Paradiso".
The plot will obviously be our main character traveling with Lisa through the afterlife to guide her soul to Heaven. And having wacky adventures along the way!
After a lot more hassle than I would have thought... I am back up and running!

But I think you are right Hullahopp, this update is very suspicious and even more worrying than this silence.
At least, Nine of Swords still hate werewolves... in any case, for now...
