After getting a new PC, downloaded Mythos 3.11.0 to replay it on here, but am getting a traceback long text page of errors, attached. Any ideas what is wrong? HELP!!

Well, I'm not a specialist, but you say you have a new PC, and the issue you have seems related to the sound:
"DirectSoundCreate8: No audio device found".
So, if I was you, the first thing I will checked is if the audio config of your new PC is OK.
Maybe a missing driver?
I'm not really much of a specialist myself (as I always say, I'm an author that's faking their way through game development), but what damnedfrog said seems to be correct. Have you managed to fix this?

Well I'll be damned.
My audio is via wireless earphones, so they are not always turned on. This is the first game where it didn't let it launch. The others it just jacks up the animations. New one on me to watch out for.
I often leave audio off for games because I've never much cared for the music most devs put in the games. Sorry not trying to be insulting or anything, just have my own taste in music. I usually can't stand sound track music in movies, either, and lately, they've been focusing on "mood" via loud music, overriding dialogue, which irritates the hell out of me. I am glad that AVNs normally put more into the story than other media, which is part of why I like them so much. The porn aspect is a nice touch, but if it's all porn and no story, it's as boring as watching paint dry. Just like in real life, if there is no emotional attachment to the characters, then there is no feeling, no thrill, to the sex. And that attachment only comes with knowing the characters, and their story.
Thanks, NoW, for such a well-written, and well illustrated, novel. So far, Tara is my favorite character.
I'm not insulted at all! I make my own music for Mythos, but... when I play other VNs, I also have the sound off. I totally get it!

This is missing the fantasy tag. It's urban fantasy, sure, but pretty much every other game in that genre has the tag.
