I know a lot of people already responded to this, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents in case you're interested in a different perspective. Quite a few VNs and games I follow here have multiple parts, chapters, books, or seasons. Imo, if the next book is a continuation of the same story, it'd probably be better to have it all in the same thread. If it's more of a sequel, it would definitely make more sense to create a separate page. In my experience, it's a lot easier to follow multi-part stories when they're all in the same place. It also is a lot easier to redownload parts if they are lost or something. It probably doesn't matter much either way, so do what you think is best. I just thought I'd pipe up for this option since I didn't see any arguments for it, but I think it does have some positives
ETA: another positive, imo, that I forgot to mention is that the discussion around a story seems more contiguous if it's all in the same thread. Having to reference another thread to find a point someone made in a discussion is another barrier to furthering the discussion (and a step a lot of users might not think to do since keeping multiple parts in a single thread seems to be much more common than separating them), so separating parts into different threads kinda soft resets the discussion around the story to a degree

That kind of thing, while sensible in its way, can lead to confusion and clutter in the thread in my opinion, and the OP of each installment on a new thread can link you to the others.
One thing I'd do on the OP if I were a Dev (or at least the site person posting the Dev's VNs) is put right below the banner that the particular thread is "Part/Chapter/Book/Season X of Y" in the ongoing [whatever the overarching name of the connected stories, such as "Song of Fire and Ice"] saga. While there's usually a single link that shows the other VNs by the same author, I'd probably put an explicit spoiler that says "Links To Other VNs in the Series", or similar.
Something like that would keep the OP cleaner and better organized, and you wouldn't have to search the thread to figure out where discussions about the old book ended and the new book began, or have a whole mashup of everything in the latter part of the thread.

The way you've been talking about Book 2, it sounds like you intend it to be a completely different story, even if it's related to this one, so it makes more sense thematically to be a new thread. Even if you call it Mythos: Book Two, it still makes sense (and any fan will still easily be able to find it with a simple search).
Doesn't mean you can't keep promoting the new game in this thread with your weekly updates. Just means by Book Five, you'll have to copy/paste the message in five different threads

Finally got around to reading the log which was a great one as didn't know there were so many fun activities in MAGfest, wow definitely sounds like you had a fun period there. Kudos to the Testies too, they really worked hard there; and definitely it becomes more interesting to see the surprises you have in store for us. Also since you mentioned that there's surely going to be some flying shit soon expect it doesn't get too tiresome for you, as well family dramas don't really add anything productive so certainly take care there Nine!

Morgana and I got COVID. Probably going to have to push the Steam release date out longer than I'd like, because we're in BAD shape right now.
I may do a "Patreon Release" before then, and have Steam be a bit of a "remaster release". Not sure. Can't really think straight. I'm worried about the game being marked "Abandoned."

I don't think Mythos will be marked abandoned soon.
But if it's still happen, is not such a big deal. This tag isn't permanent. At worst it will be removed when you'll release the update.

I have been a connoisseur if Irish/Rus ginger pussy, but my tongue is probably a little thicker than a lizards - that's why it stays "under the hood" a good deal of the time while the finger(s) go deep. All of them are custom jobs, so one just has to listen to the feedback.

You're supposed to have 18 months of no game updates, or extraordinary circumstances (all dev accounts disappear, for instance) before a game is marked abandoned, so you've got plenty of time.Take care there Nine and yep don't think about the game at all currently. Unfortunately, to respond to DP19, if I wasn't a K7 fan, I'd think the same way you do. But it has recently been "made clear" that "technically" a game that hasn't had an update in 18 months is to be marked abandoned regardless of circumstances and/or communication from the recognized developer.
Still, you have until at least May before you hit that watermark, so just rest, relax and get better. You're fine.
