People were paying ~$450 per month for his Patreon, with a commitment made to update the game every two months. Not only has he not met this timeline, he hasn't made a single public statement to his patreons since May.

So people are justified in being upset. It wouldn't take much for him to check in with an update, even if the timeline has slipped.

He's online every few days.
If youre subbed, go dm his patreon.
Crying here is the best way to get his attention on patreon. (y)

You are the ones overreacting. 2 months my man, 2 months. Trash_Panda, a dev radio silent for months longer than this and releases an update once a year. No one is crying abandoned on his 2 games.

You lot are the ones getting all worked up! Being upset over free stuff. Sheesh.
Release date was May 7. It's now July 31. That's more like three months.
I fyou're going to over react at least share good math with all your hyperbole

What are you his boyfriend? Your arguments reeks. People have been scammed, of course they'll be upset. If you haven't supported the dev, that's your situation, not others.

For me it is still unfortunate that one of the best NTR with potential is abandoned, and this time very prematurely. We do not know what happened, but if the developer is seeing this, at least let us know about something.

Yeah. Devs going radio silent and abandoning their games are a dime a dozen, but this game is actually really high quality which makes this situation kind of surprising and shitty

thank god i read the comments here and on the patreon before giving any money. Was blown away over how good the game was. Radio silence is not a good sign, especially when the dev has been observed logged on this site.

I think the fact that the dev does come online here regularly should make you guys pause to consider that whining, claiming abandonment, etc. is a great way to deter a dev from wanting to continue their project. It's only been a bit over 2 months and people are very quick to jump to all the worst case situations.

I can agree that radio silence on both here AND his patreon is definitely not a good thing, but constantly being negative, especially THIS early into the games life, only compounds onto the chances of this game ACTUALLY being discontinued. It's turned devs off from continuing their projects before.

Also, people undershoot their timeline on their first projects all the time. They don't know what their workflow is going to be really like, especially when there's eyes on their project as well as uncertainty on the success of their project at the start and how much time they can commit to their project while simultaneously trying to pay their bills.

You guys need to chill and temper your expectations.

Agree. However, the developer didn't do him/herself any favors by putting an an excel spreadsheet timeline on the patreon homepage. Probably not a good idea.

That said, plenty of other games to enjoy on this site. For this one, all you can do is watch a wait.

Like I said, new dev's undershoot their timelines the first time almost all the time. The worst offense that people have every valid reason to be even mildly upset about is the lack of communication. Mostly people on Patreon though, people on here can go kick rocks.

tbh, if the dev does see all this discourse, he should probably do what N_Taii does and have POL (Proof of Life) Updates, y'know, just so that folks don't get all rfasdbui like they are now.

The problem is, it takes just a few seconds to write "Hey, I have private issues, cannot update the game soon." or something and everyone is happy.

I am on the fence about this as well. On one side, we dont know what happened to the devs private life, if they have had a sudden loss and is just severely depressed. The dev logging in doesnt meant they read whats happening here. Maybe they are browsing other games for inspiration.

I have not sunk money into this so my views are a bit different. If I had sunk in any kind of money I would be pissed as well.

That said, I hope this does not get abandoned. This has been everything I want from a game like that. Sure, for me there were lots of bugs but I did not mind because of the good story and nice visuals.

So heres to hope and hopefully some more infos in the next weeks.

I wishfully believe that voicing my unwillingness to support the project with my hard earned money when the developers go radio silent will deter future devs from stopping all communication, from which 90% of negativity towards this project stems from.

''I'am sorry but i need to take a short break due to personal reasons'' takes 10secs to write. So i neither need to chill or tamper my expectations as they are not high to begin with

I already mentioned that lack of communication is the only valid reason for people getting upset.

You can overreact all you want, it causes more damage than it helps and you're the one who looks unhinged as a result, so it's your own cross to bear.

It is you who is being hyperbolic with biblical analogies and labeling opposing arguments as ''unhinged''.
I believe this thread is full of people who would support the dev if he just gave a little update on the project. Me being one of them.
There is worth in these comments and do not believe they are as damaging as you say. As long as people maintain a minimal level of decorum it should be fine. If no one cared there would be NO comments. (pics related).

I for one would be happy to know so many people cared enough to write about how much they wished for my project to continue and the sheer disappointment about the thought of it being abandoned.
