I agree on a lot of points you are saying. I just want to point out the the patterns on the heart monitor (bold) do not work that way for me. Whenever I played the game I get 100% red and no yellow across 3-4 days sometimes. And often times when it goes red then yellow and I go back and look there is actually no scene happening. Sometimes you even see them in a resting room and Kana is on the bed, but literally no scene triggers. The triggers are very often bugged and it can be a real mess at times, despite all the patches.
I think the harassment sometimes not happening might be intentional (seems like too big of a thing to be a bug oversight) to be a fake-out as her ECG spikes red/yellow during combat as well, so the player is left wondering if she was just fighting or being harassed by Blondie.

The dev did not reuse CGs in Dwitter for that I was wrong. I remade a new save yesterday and played a full pure love route. It's already been a couple days (cleared 4/6 of mysterious spirit encounter). Rat faced lawrence is a fcking Slime ass bastard, not even deserving of being an NTR antagonist. He blackmails Kana (I haven't unlocked/ learnt the full truth yet) to coerce/ rape her. Yet when the protagonist shows up he scurries like a little bitch, running away like a fcking cuck. He's more of a cockroach in the game with no redeeming quality, he's a hyena/ vulture that only strikes when the protagonist is not around. A true NTR antagonist should not be as cowardly/ craven as this guy, he should be more courageous and even antagonizes the protagonist and wins the girl over with his qualities instead of Kana being blackmailed into liking the guy and falling into debauchery. I drove lawrence away everytime I see him and surprise2 no Dwitter post for that bastard. Felt fcking good cucking the cowardly NTR antagonist. Even in dungeon that dude is fcking useless, the mc and kana description of him regards him as a piece of useless trash. The game should have shown him to be more competent as to make him a worthy rival of an antagonist. But nope, he's just a blackmailing cuck that cannot stand in his own shoes with his own merit (yet the game hints he is a playboy).
Tbh, I very much prefer NTR antagonists whose true character is that of a worthless piece of trash. They can be physically attractive or have one quality better than the protagonist, but I prefer it when the Love Interest cheats on the MC, it is in the end a complete negative life choice for the Love Interest. NTR is best imho when the love interest starts with thinking the Netori guy is better and more fun, but as time goes on, she starts to learn that she really fucked up and has no way out and to him, she was nothing but a fun distraction to pump and dump after she gets pregnant.

Well I mean fair enough. In the end I can't complain when I get to play the game for free. Tho tbf I played the OG version, I just didn't want to pay for the translation. maybe a bit selfish, but im on a tight budget. either way, it is what it is...

Also J-kay whoever you are, you're a real rat.

:ROFLMAO: it goes both ways, one can be pirate while another is a rat. Fair is fair.

Is there more similar NRT "behind the scenes" RPGM games with male protag?
Aside from Scars of Summer, there's also Until Her Amorous Body Corrupts from the same circle, though the latter is a VN. If you're a fan of shinachiku-castella, then it's worth a look despite not being an RPGMaker game.

Finally finished the game with True end, Normal mode. Damn was the game grindy (in order to not get rekt by enemies). Balance was really poorly done. Worst aspect is when Lawrence comes along he decides what dungeon to go on in (you can pick what dungeon to go to on weekends=Saturday, Sunday). Early game sucked as he kept on picking the complex dungeons one after the other (1st day = mansion = ez dungeon, 2nd day = hospital, 3rd = church). Sure I can "skip" dungeon by leaving and ending daytime exploration for that day, but where's the fun in that? I need to finish those dungeons anyways. The early game dungeon layout/mechanics really messed with me (3 dungeons overall, in terms of complexity from least complex to most = Mansion, church, hospital). I needed to use and read the guide thoroughly in order to not get lost/ understand the mechanics of those dungeon (this is the only RPG/H game that necessitated me to focus on a guide while playing).

The difficulty of the bosses of said dungeon also varies (easiest to hardest is mansion, hospital, church) with church being the hardest boss for an underleveled/undergeared party. The scaling of the dungeons is also out of whack, I focused on grinding the mansion in order to get better gear drops (spam rushing boss/elites) until I reached a point wherein I can't brute force stuff anymore and Kana keeps going on red (despite decent gear, but she is very underleveled).

It was only after I "finished" the 3 dungeons that I learnt that the best area to level up Protagonist + Kana is the Asahane house (last level). I was level 13-15 protagonist and level 8-10 Kana once I "finished" (found the ghost girl 2 times each) the three dungeons. The best gear is also found on Asahane house (provided you can kill the elites/bosses) and that area provides shit ton of exp, after a bit of grinding I ended the game at level 40 (both Kana and Protagonist). My total playtime is 12 hours and 53 minutes (in getting the TRUE END/Pure route) this is not counting the time I spent reading the GUIDE and reloading/saving in certain scenarios where I was testing the game's mechanics/looking at H scenes.

Magic (aside from the magic burst skill protagonist does [MP to TP skill]) is pretty niche/ garbage. The fcking vague and overtly complicated effects of the spells for such little payoff is so badly balanced. I tried all sorts of elements/combinations (frost, fire, earth, darkness). They all pale in comparison to good o'l magic burst [MP to TP skill] into normal attacking everything to death. The worst part of magic is how combat works, even at level 40 max gear my protagonist can get 1 hit by the elites, but I can also deal 80-100% of their health in damage. So the game becomes burst or be bursted. But the way magic works is it is a slow buildup of combo, chains and effects (which the combat system of pure DPS race due to fragility of protagonist/Kana is counterproductive towards). SURE one can argue you can also build Kana/protagonist to be tanky (in order to utilize magic system) but why bother? When you can just burst enemies in 1-3 turns (and get bursted just as fast). Magic burst of mine at endgame deals 2k-3k damage. Meanwhile magic chaining/combo will deal 400-800 damage per turn (which required two-three turns to set up). There might be an "OP" magic combo somewhere but the vagueness of this magic system and how shitty it feels just made me not experiment much (If 1 Magic combo is OP over 19 magic combo that is pure trash/garbage then that system is just bad).

Crafting system is also not that properly explained in game (this is your main way of gaining power/stats). I had to rely on the official guide to know what tarot cards can combo into, how to create better tarot cards, etc. So that makes both exploring the dungeon, learning the gameplay mechanics requiring you to USE AN OFFICIAL GUIDE (in order to not waste your time and getting frustrated experimenting and learning how things work).

As for the concerns of randomness when it comes to H scenes (this can be bypassed by an in game interactable NPC). Although that is not made apparently clear and would require you to unlock several facilities (FOLLOW THE OFFICIAL GUIDE TO LEARN about this or try talking to every new npc and doing their quests, and still you don't know how the facilities get unlocked without READING THE GUIDE). BUT once you unlock all facilities then the game becomes EASY to direct/what H scene you would like to view/see (THIS IS NOT THE GALLERY BUT IN GAMEPLAY SEEING IT). Gallery is also fully unlocked by talking to succubus NPC at the bottom part of the dream area.

The story is what hooked me into the game, the mystery, the intrigue, and what will happen to the plot kept me going to finishing the game. While the story is not what I would say great/"WORLD CHANGING", it's quite okay on its own, decent enough to keep the player engaged/intrigued towards the plot points.

All in all I would not recommend this game if you value your time (but if you're like me that just goes monkey brain and plays H games in his spare time when the CG is good, gameplay is unique, then you can try this one BUT READ THE FCKING GUIDE or you're going to have a hard time... in a bad way). The game is an unpolished/rough diamond. While it does not stand out enough to challenge the CLASSIC great H games (Scars of Summer for NTR genre, Karryn's Prison for H gameplay elements, etc) it is still charming/decent enough game that was made with passion (NOT A FCKING cashgrab/CG collectathon). This game got heart but is filled with multiple badly implemented mechanics.

No offense to the dev, but I would've asked a refund for this game.

how can you see the current population?
The best way that I was able to gauge current population numbers is the night time exorcism locations. I think all 3 of them added up = current total population. The central one (middle difficulty) being the most important since it contains the most population/capacity for growth.

Genuinely fucking pissed off at the hospital. The guid is basically *HURR DURR SHOULDA GOTTEN ALL THE CARDS FROM THE START!* Every fucking entrance is blocked because Kana can't walk anywhere, and I'm looking at a fucking restart of the game.

Can some explain how to clear the fucking hospital, without doing a restart of the game. I have ZERO cardkeys, and no fucking clue how this convoluted mess works.

This walkthrough doesn't help at all, because it doesn't actually explain how to force where Kana goes and it assumes you pilfered EVERY FUCKING NOOK AN CRANNY before you progressed.

Check every room you can enter, ie not the ones with red doors that say they have wood on the inside. Some rooms will have circles of light in them indicating interest, walk into those light circles and the keycards will be picked up automatically. After that it's pretty easy to direct Kana actually, just follow the red carpet and unlock and lock doors (with the red and green keypads) as you see fit. Then you just need to wait as she moves.

The dev really thought "You know what the best mechanic in gaming? Escort missions, let's tune that shit 1000%". Yeah that fcking Shit ass place made me mald and read the fcking map/guide over and over till I collected all necessary items (because I'm a completionist). The hidden "tip" is to ignore Kana's stupid ass pathfinding. Use the Circle/portal wavy thingy at near the boss area. Every time I do the hospital, I ignored Kana's pathfinding and rushed the boss (in order to spawn her there.) BUT I managed to "GUIDE" kana to finding the fcking MAP (BECAUSE THE game required you to GUIDE kana to the map location in order to unlock it). THAT SHIT would have been fcking tedious to figure out on your own. The only way I was able to know what to do is because of the guide.

Anyways if you're planning to just finish the hospital. Rush the boss (at minimum I think you will only require a few [not sure] or no keycards at all). BUT if you're planning to get H scene at the hospital, well good luck figuring out how Kana's pathfinding works LOL. But here's a tip. Talking to her once before entering let's you pre plan the hospital. 2 hours before she will go in. You can use that time to set her path up/ RUSH TO THE BOSS WITHOUT THAT DUMB B. But if for some reason you want to manually guide Kana to the boss THEN You really need to STUDY the map (FUN mechanic dev *sarcasm) in the guide. I managed to guide Kana to the maps (one map for each floor, basement and 1st floor) and guided her to the boss (just for testing sake and because I already dedicated my time learning this game, might as well go all the way). It is possible both ways but tedious in terms of learning HOW.

1st floor and Basement has doors that leads to the same area boss (HOSPITAL BOSS). SO you don't need to guide Kana/yourself to jump hoops going from 1st floor to basement doing criss cross. You can just focus on one route that you are familiar with (for the sake of your sanity). If you really plan to go in depth and learn the hospital, then in the guide are the "important" item locations. Keycards, fire exit cards, etc. KEYCARDS, fire exit cards ARE REQUIRED FOR TRUE END. MAP is optional. So is the surveillance room. Find all items necessary for what your goals are (again I don't think you need to get any of the other cards if you just want to beat the area boss) during the 2 hour period Kana has given you before she starts getting lost like a little PUPPY. If you somehow lack time, either reload the save and find a more efficient path. OR quit the dungeon when Kana spawns, or keep collecting item while Kana gets lost/locked lol. OH you also need to activate switches to open certain DOORS FOR kana to be able to move through. So basically the game expects you to 100% know the map and plan your way through during your first time arriving at that area (great game design *sarcasm).

Edit: yeah what the other guy said, Kana only walks on red carpets.
