No, but given that it was meant to be a brief delay, I would absolutely bet that it blew up in his face and he's either taking a break or trying to figure out how to get past it. And I get it, I was stunned as fuck when my game's first version wound up being 600MB because well... I have nine versions planned and that's going to get bloated fast. Compression can be difficult to manage if there's a certain level of quality you want to upkeep but more so when you don't want people to have to give up 20GB of space. And it could be due to a large quantity of photos - unlikely given how much had been in this game before - the amount of animations - much more likely given the trailer he released - or music/sounds - also very likely. It's tough to want to compromise on that but hopefully he figures out a solution.

Update v0.10 Release Dates Announcement:

Update v0.10 is finally moving into the bug-testing phase - for real. Two rounds of volunteer testers have been messaged with their testing periods.


This means I can give a release date:

- For Ace Admirer & Emma Enthusiast patrons, it will be available on February 28th, 2025.

- For Lily Loyalists, it will be available on March 2nd.

- For Abbie Addicts, it will be available on March 4th.

- For everyone else, it will be available on March 5th, 2025.

Thank you for your patience during this massive overhaul of the game. It’s been a long road, but everything is now laid for quicker releases post-v0.10.

NemesisGames has gone on an unplanned hiatus like this before, which makes the post they have about making a successful game sadly ironic. I hope they figure out the compression issue because it would be a shame to leave it after all they've done but they're right that a 20gb game is untenable.

It’s upsetting to announce this, but update v0.10 will be the last for Nemesis Party.

I started this project two years ago with zero 3D modeling experience, and zero coding knowledge. I’ve learned a ton…

But every update, I have to confront coding issues created by a past me who knew nothing. And while I’ve revised the underlying code, these rookie mistakes are a technical debt that slow down each release. They are inescapable, as they are the foundation on which this game was built.

If I extrapolate these delays into the future, I have to face the truth: at this rate, Nemesis Party would take a decade to complete.

And so, no longer deceiving myself or anyone else, this project is over for the foreseeable future.

I owe it to my supporters and Patrons to release the current update, so I will focus on doing that. All payments will be suspended until I fulfill my promise to release v0.10.


Farewell, NTR - Circa 2025

Alongside v0.10 of Nemesis Party, I will release Farewell, NTR, a short netorare/netorase story about a young couple who go camping with friends. I completed it while debating if Nemesis Party is worth continuing.

It's called Farewell, NTR because I'm leaving NTR-focused games behind. I've read, watched, and created every way that a woman's love can be stolen, and it no longer excites me. The part of my brain stimulated by this genre has been worn smooth.



Most of my supporters are fans of NTR, and so I have little expectation for anyone to follow me to my next project. It will lean on my new skills of art and storytelling. My ambitions will be curtailed from the explosion of ideas that was Nemesis Party, back to what is actually achievable with one person alone.

For those curious, it'll be a fantasy-adventure story set in a college where beautiful women practice magical art. And this time, you'll play the alpha.

Very disappointed that you're moving away from NTR, but it is what it is. If NTR has become stale for you, I can't imagine writing a harem will last very long lmao
