Only read if you are fine with getting spoiled with 0.5 a little bit Whats very different between pearl and the other betrayals is that Pearl is unable to accept the MC's forgiveness despite the fact that the MC forgave her. She doesnt deem herself worthy of his kindness and is driven by the desire to make up for her failure instead of moving just past it.I hope that she retains that feeling because I want nothing to do with either of them.
She too thinks that nothing justifies the betrayal until she finds a way to help the nephilim enough to make up for it . Her biggest fear is to not get the chance to at least try to redeem herself. Thats a great character development/motivation.
She will only accept to be forgiven if she will be able to prove herself worthy of it. And it has to be furthermore considered that this girl got tortured, abused and hurt and kept in a constant state of fear her whole life by her father.
And now she wants her new daddy to be proud of her
This really won me over esp when she's able to achieve that.
