This is weird logic at best as I don't really agree with it but...Selena's betrayal directly impacted Eliza and indirectly the MC. So in a twisted way, he's just returning the favor by hurting someone close to her instead of her directly, much like Taron didn't hurt the MC directly.
That's a little too psycho for me. I can see killing Selena but not killing an innocent to "teach her a lesson" or whatever. Even if you're being "cold and calculating" about it, that just leaves you with an enemy for life running around.
Appreciate the insight. The points make sense but I echo the other post that I don't think the fight came across the way the dev interprets it.
Still, I might be being a little too picky. This is AVN land after all. On a side note...3 seasons? How many lewds is that gonna end up being? We pick up 1-2 characters per update at a minimum and even if some are just side content (Kelly and her mom) we're gonna hit triple digits by the end of this.

Realistically though, I suspect the number of new long-term LIs to level off at least a bit after season 1. Knowing now that there's three seasons planned, it makes since for season 1 to spend a lot of time introducing them, and season 2 and 3 focused on growing them more.
This seems like a rationalization after the fact. MC is half angel, Eliza is a first generation vampire and the entire kingdom is looking for Taron but there are too many lis and so the dev is trying to justify it as - we're going to need them in the coming battle against a normal guy who is very sneaky. P.S. Regarding Taron, he's apparently only the primary antagonist for Season 1.
Sure, the allies didn't need to be potential LIs, but this is without a doubt a harem game. I'd have been very surprised if the majority of our female companions hadn't been potential LIs.
We might be underestimating Taron - but we have an entire kingdom that wants him (in addition to the individuals we already have) - How much more do we need to deal with one guy? As for the harem - it might be a harem game, but because we get to pick and choose, I'm choosing not to play it as a harem game. I'm just with Eliza. I have plenty of reasons to like Eliza and Eliza doesn't want MC to have a harem, she might put up with it but it's not what she wants and that's enough for me. Honestly, none of the others have been tempting enough that I'd upset Eliza to be with them. IMO anyway, most of them are fairly uninteresting and weird. It's like they have no ambition, life or power without MC there.
Everyone besides Eliza is pretty shallow I agree. The writing starts to fold when you do Eliza only. LIs consistently throw themselves at you despite saying no over and over. In the end, you get the same Eliza, the same Luna, the same Kira, etc. It's almost like the LIs should have been kinetic from the way they are supposed to be incorporated into the story but you can't do kinetic without people whining about forced relationships.
Yeah, I don't do kinetic AVNs. If I want that I have books and graphic novels. I'm here for Eliza and MC and their story. The rest is just stuff I have to slog through. Eliza and MC just happen to live in a world where the women are super needy and thirsty and incapable of handling much without MC. I have my wife, and then a bunch of adopted children with special needs and I may need to jump up at a moments notice and cross half a continent because their shoe came untied and they don't know what to do about it. Honestly, if things don't change I'll probably be out after the first part because I fear that we'll start part 2 living in the house we're building with all of, or most of, the Lis living there too - even if MC showed no interest in them. I've played it with the walkthrough on and I don't think I have a single relationship point with any of them, and am locked on the friend path with four or five of them, but they don't seem to have noticed.
Alice sees Eliza sleeping post paralysis. Alice decides the best course of action is to strip, crawl in bed with her, and try to entice the MC. Alice has issues.
I didn't mind the Alice scene as much as others. I didn't see the big deal how she was sleeping with Eliza in a medieval / fantasy society especially from a commoner . Be a different story if Eliza was a princess or Queen or it was a modern day setting. . As I imagine alot do sleep naked so probably seems normal and probably something they don't bat an eye at.
Yeah, I thought about doing a list but not much point. The gods we've met are interesting, but they are gods, not Lis and I think you have to be interesting to be a god, otherwise the other gods throw you out. For me the game has a lot of pretty girls with serious issues, and one love interest.
I was actually going to replay this after I finish with my current VN and speed run through it looking for some things and this was one of the scenes I was going to return to and and pay attention because I just remember being weirded out by it at first. I have no qualms about her wanting to sleep next to Eliza, or be naked. My concern comes into the timing of their serious talk about their feelings when Eliza's injury was still fresh. It's comedically bad timing. I'm hoping a fresh take gives me an updated opinion on it.
But it definitely makes Alice look bad when the MC is like "No! WTF is wrong with you? I know we had fun playing adventurers when we were 10 but you really need to move on." Ok ... that's just what he said in my mind, but it still makes Alice look bad if you shoot her down in that moment.
As someone who doesn't like Pearl, or Kira or Diana(? - the new one) and doesn't think any of the other Li's are worth spending a night away from Eliza for ... you are correct about this update.
What you talking about? For me Kira the best girl damn, but that's my opinion i really liked eliza from the beginning but after that trip when we meet kira wow she is just something else
Eliza and the friend from the past(can't remember her name shame on me she needs more screen time) those are my go to girls.
