NTR stands for Netorare. Netorare (寝取られ) is a sexual fetish designed to cause sexual jealousy by way of having the heroine indulge in sexual activity with someone other than the protagonist. It is story driven cheating. It falls into three categories,
A) The heroine is willingly and knowingly cheating on the protag out of her own desire,
B) She's first drugged or blackmailed into it, but later starts to enjoy it and continue out of her own will
C) Is raped in front of the protag to cause humiliation to him, and it's non-consensual all the way through.
Yes, it is about the sex. Sex is not as simple as "I stick my ladle into your duck sauce" there are a myriad of psychological and emotional factors that go into sex in the first place. You seem to have a psychological aversion to it, likely because of the cheating element of it. You clearly attribute all NTR as type C, even when you've described type B. You're pissy about it because you're showing outward and direct hostility to the very idea that it is in your game, insinuating that you likely would not play the game if you could not avoid the NTR. Funny thing about that, is that every single job you can take IS an NTR job, it just takes a while for you to reach penetration in some of them. Does this mean that you only count it as cheating if they penetrate? Does this mean when the heroine lets her breasts get groped by the book seller, it's NOT NTR? Maybe in your mind, which stems from your aversion to it.
Now why do you have this aversion? Well either you've been cheated on, or you empathize with the protag. Protags in NTR games tend to be wussy nice guys and oblivious door mats, ironically an almost uncanny side by side comparison to soy boys IRL. So soy boys tend to dislike these types of games.
