Dev didn't have an idea, yet so he just called it new... But had to use a different spelling, because it was already used before...

The dev (me) had an idea. The basic concept of "art nouveau" has this meaning:

So I wanted to translate this to a game storyline that is asymmetrical with branches and a lot of decorations, a "nouveau storyline" (hah!).
But I also wanted the name of the game to be something unique so when you google it it can't be confused with other things. So I intentionally misspelled the name

Well I just subscribed to his patreon, because he spend a lot of work on the rework, so if you can afford it, I would suggest you do the same, as the game was great even in the initial version.

No animations so far.
My plan is to try adding a simple animation in the next release (Chapter 07 release), just to get my feet wet. See how it works, how fast it can go, and start getting familiarized with creating animations. Then if that comes out good, I'll start making all the scenes animated.
At this point I'm not feeling optimistic that I can do it, but I'll definitely give it a try.
