Looks like the dev made a post on Patreon over a year after his last post, but it's behind a paywall so I can't read it. From the few words I was able to read, he lost the back up and doesn't want to start over. The title of the post is "No more new games and updates". So, I guess it's nothing we don't already know. At least we have a confirmation that its abandoned, which we don't always get.
