HoneyGames Just wanted to drop in to say don't listen to the naysayers. Haters gonna hate. Loving the rework, the new renders look SO much better. Great work! Your passion for the project, the story and the characters really shows and i think that's what really elevates this game.

Keeping everything together in a game with so many characters, choices, plots etc.. is really impressive and it's understandable you had to rework everything from the ground up.
Keep it up, you're doing an amazing job, if i had any money to spare, i'd throw it at you for your dedication, talent and passion.

I swear some of these people are bots. Some of you were in here for the discussion about what this update was going to be, and are still posting in your indignant old white lady voices as if you didn't know that it's only 15 days. Yes, there are bugs in this LEAKED version. Yes, you can click on the exception report links and fix all of them with a halfway decent text editor and two brain cells to rub together.

I'm not going to say this release is perfect with what I would have wanted, but I can see the framework of the changes he's going for and it will improve the game when it catches up. If he's not lying about the renders being done for much of the game, then the progress shouldn't be as slow as the gap between 1.55 and this reboot. As I have said before, all of your incessant and off-base whining will do nothing to help the game. This is not Epic games, it's one dude with a potentially really cool game that he's trying to make as best as he can and if you keep stressing him the fuck out the game just won't get made. So please stop. Or at least voice your concerns in a way that isn't dripping in entitlement and emotional trauma from not being hugged enough.
So have you ever supported his game, I have for a long time? Hugged enough, what age are you ? Are you even old enough to be a member here? You are voicing your opinions based on what? Guess work, unlike you, many of the people in this thread have actually supported the game from the start. If you are indeed a supporter of the game, then I am surprised you are OK with a rewrite yet again and if you have any coding skills then I am surprised you think this is a completely restructured framework you do realize it's renpy. Renders are irrelevant if you can only manage a very small amount of story code in the time between the last release. Render time is only important if you are inserting it into a long piece of story code, as render time can slow the release down. Take a breath and throw stones when you know how to aim

Share the new update so I can check and fix this problem :KEK:
I'm having the same error with the first scene with Roberta after they meet at the Skybar.

kinda dissapointing, renders and all that are great, but the fact that we had 70+´days and now starting all over again its gonna take atleast 1 year before we are back at the 70+ days and the ending of season 1 (before reboot) was getting so interesting so it kinda sucks starting all over. (like being a kid building a lego castle for hours and then having someone breaking it all down  :p )
These reboots in the middle of the game are worst, that kind of thing would be good to be done after the game is completed, as in most of these games, you don't even know if the people who produce the game will continue it until the end, the person can get sick of the project, they can have some health problem, something more serious can happen as in the case of covid -19 where people died, it is very difficult in these circumstances to support the game, we have the example of the people who produce MilfyCity, there are many uncertainties to put money in the middle.

I think it is a piece of shit move to post a leaked version of an unfinished product without the permission of the dev. This makes it completely unfair towards the Dev that is being subjected to complaints or just pure bitching regarding bugs, typos, edits when he was not even finished the product yet. This definitely is not on the Dev, but rather on the leaker himself.

Also, this serves as a lesson to never post anything until the work is completed. I do not think HoneyGames is milking anything. Far from it. Also his renders are not slightly improved, they are massively improved. Go compare the contrast and quality from his previous game images to what they are now. Big difference, and it is nice that he is adding new things, concepts, etc.

Stay strong HoneyGames.
And getting money at PATREON with a bugged version is better?

I never put money towards this game so the weight of my opinion is quite limited, which I understand.
Many people in this thread complain about the rewrite and after this long time still containing a lot of bugs.

Personally, I liked the game before thislatest remake and I still like it now. The renders before were always kind of off. When HoneyGames got their new PC and the started pumping out high quality renders, it pushed the game to another level from me. I‘m a big fan and I really like the passion HoneyGames is putting into NCC even with all these setbacks. I will patiently wait for some more content with new renders to be released before restarting with a new playthrough. The characters that interest me are more involved in the later days anyway. Hopefully it won’t take as long as the last update.

Meanwhile I‘m using the time to cut through my backlog of other games so the wait doesn‘t actually feel that bad.

Good luck HoneyGames and all the strength to see your vision of what you want this game to be realized.

I read that this was a copy for testers and that someone uploaded it, wasn't the official. I've tested a game guy wanted it on stream was 2-3 days playing +18h days never uploaded it and only had 3 bugs and guy fixed them really fast. This version is full of script errors and some mistakes with dialogues but I don't blame HoneyGames I blame the one who was suppose to test it, no wonder he got pissed. I would gladly test his game in the future.

HoneyGames , I'm liking the new story and dialog. Characters are more flesh out. The new renders look cool. And I like a lot the new photo-shoot system. (y) And also, new girls!

The new 'Vipstagram'? Not so much. Yes, you can gain or loose a few relationship points, but it's a bit of an annoyance to like, unlike, follow, unfollow, for every girl (and some guys) EVERY SINGLE DAY. And this is now, on day 15, what would it be in day 100 when we're dealing with +30 character?.

And that's my main worry. You're adding more complexity, new variables (now your tracking relationship, friendship, flirting, domination... ) and conversation flags, instead of simplifying the code so it can be more manageable (for you, and for your beta-testers).

The code in the old version had dozens of variables and flags that had zero or very little purpose. And I'm seeing the same symptoms in the new version. Not every menu choice is meaningful. There is no need to track every answer and every choice. Tracking different branches in a conversation for every character it's a lot of work and sometimes for very little gain (a couple of point up or down, a different facial expression in a render).

An example, the dialog at the end of day 15. Is it really necessary to waste more than 100 lines of code (which, by the way, could be reduce to +/-30 with a while loop ;)) in order to know your favourite conversation topics? How is that relevant to the character or the story? In a game with potentially more than 200.000 lines of code, you should be avoiding this kind of things. Every extra line add the possibility of errors, so in a game this big and this complex every line should count for something. Wasting lines (and time) in tracking and coding silly choices in a dialog, or counting likes on 'Vipstagram' (what for?!), should be a big NO-NO ;)

That said, I like this game a lot, and I see a lot of potential with the improve characters and dialog. And the girls look hot as hell in the new renders :love::love::love::love:. I don't mind at all to have to start from the beginning again. I did it with every update of the old version. That's the beauty of making a complex game, there's a lot of replayability. I just hope that we don't have to wait so long for the next update. :p
Okay. I understand your doubts and fears now I explain my plans and the reasons for my choices.
Vipstagram:
My goal is to create a "universe" in New coral, where I have already set my past games and where I will set future ones. In this way I can make familiar some characters that are not in the game (side characters and Cameo).
In the new version of the game there will be many new things: for example, the side quests that will include some of these characters and see them in some "Stories" helps to recognize them and put them in context (as well as give ideas on who to ask and how to solve certain tasks).
Regarding conversation topics.
This thing is done to simplify. In the game there are often many dialogues (and sometimes the same thing is repeated, in a different way making it more difficult to track the variable). from the next release you will start to understand better the reboot and more the game goes on more it will be clear why I made certain choices. I understand that at the moment it may seem that I have added complexity to complexity, as I said: it was not possible to upset more the first weeks without creating problems to the intricate plots that cross at specific times of the game. so I studied a slow way to move as quickly as possible to a system that makes the development of the game easier.
I know a lot of people think I've been dicking around for a year, surprise mutherfucker, I haven't been dicking around: I've been studying how to do things better.

PS I know there are some solutions on renpy that can make me write less lines of code, but I'm not so expert. I'm studying and I'm writing them down, probably I'll replace some things in the future, now while I'm coding I prefer to use the tools I know to avoid making big mistakes. in the meantime I'll try them and understand how they can be useful to me.
even some useless variables (the likes on vipstagram) that I track, are useful in the "big picture". will have secondary utility but there will be times when certain things can daterminare the consequences (certainly not all variables, but I prefer to have all so as not to regret not having tracked when I realize that I would have served)

I love all thoses comments about how this game is free and we have no right to demand anything from the dev. Just remember that F95 gives every new dev a great space to showcase their projects and get things started on their patreon page. Even though most of them forget that as soon as money starts coming in. Only morons wouldnt realize value of this forum. We are not just a platform for piracy, as some might think. We are a comunity, an engaged one with alot expectations and passionate members. As for HoneyGames i hope you know better than to listen to thoses bootlickers (they will only tell you what you want to hear) and think everything is ok, because its not. Receiving critics is hard but its necessary to take you out of that confort zone. So my advice is absorve whatever is constructive from thoses critics and push forward. I sincerly hope you can do better, I wouldn't be wasting my time here otherwise.

You don't get what I've said.
I love the critics.
I think I've already shown it over the years. that I have responded and tried to improve the game also thanks to the criticism and feedback I've had here.
What I can't stand is criticism from people who don't know what they're talking about.
They don't know that the game was Season 2 before and they make comments about it.
He does not know that the reboot was 15 days and complains because he wanted to fuck some chick.
You see, I use time to read those who criticize me, I wish those who criticize me would use time to read what I write.

Ok, I will play again tkx. But this is only a full reboot or has a new content?
it is roughly 10-15% of the old content...there are new things added, models/renders revamped etc...yet the story is at the beginning.
just read a few posts of the dev if you wanna to know it in more details.
