Top Tier Games:
To be honest, in my view the quality of games went up tremendously.
So a top tier game for me, is one with that is almost perfect in production value, with close to perfect:
1) Graphics
2) Story
3) Animation
4) Sound
5) Atmosphere
There is more, but its games where I can find almost nothing wrong with it.
So some games on this site I would classify as Top tier is:
1) Being a Dik
2) City of Broken dreamers
3) Depraved Awakening
4) Light of my light
5) Timestamps
I enjoy all of the above, but they are not necessarily the best games in all aspects, but as a whole, there is almost nothing negative to say about them. So close to perfect games.
I would rate the above with 5 stars and score them 10/10
Then there are a ton of very good games, that I enjoy tremendously...Even maybe more then these top tier games. Some of them are quite polished themselves, but all of them have something you can critique about it. Maybe lack of animation, or no sound, or the grammar is not perfect, or renders could be better or etc. etc.
This is the space where I would classify most games I enjoy. Excellent games some aspects might even be better then the top tier games, but as a whole not quite top tier.
This would be games like
De Luca Family (Story is exceptional)
NCC (Variety of Characters, music atmosphere, realistic relationships)
Ptolemy Games (IDK just very enjoyable)
Haley's Story (Best female character for me, Also best incest story)
MR Dots Games (I have not played his latest, maybe that will move into top tier)
Tora games (Very good story and sexy character posing. Best bushes in the business)
etc. etc. My list of game I find very good are quite long.
Typically I would give these 5 stars when I rate them. But would give them 9/10
You get the point.
Then there are imperfect games, that I still enjoy and still classify as good.
I normally rate these 4 stars
TLDR; Top tier =/= What I enjoy most. For instance I enjoy NCC a LOT since it's a unique/fresh take on relationships in the adult game Genre. The girls lives does not revolve around the MC. I find this lacking in just about all other games on this site. Having said that, it's not a perfect game, it does have flaws, but still close to, if not my favourite game on this site.
Hope it makes sense.

I'm Italian as the dev, usually we study English as foreign language since elementary school (the exception are some schools where they study French). Anyway, when you are in high school English is taught everywhere. That's why I find those kind of errors very strange.

Is there any actual NTR? I mean David banging a girl that you have a serious monogamous relation with? I haven't found any at the moment, but I have bad relations with David only in one path.
I personally give a lot of attention to story, characterizations and dialogues especially during the sex scenes. In that sense I find a game like Good Girl Gone Bad top tier, despite the graphics that kept me away from downloading it for too much time. I find that females are usually much better in writing erotic scenes and engaging stories. I don't care about background music, I find it rather annoying after playing for two hours and I often mute it, while ambient sounds in a particular scene can increase the appeal of a game. Animations are a plus, but I don't look for them, I don't expect a porn video when I read a novel. I prefer more great images and better plot than short animations (they take away so much time and efforts to the developers).
Funny moments are appreciated too.
NCC has one of the most complex plots (maybe the most complex) I've ever seen, with so many characters interacting with each other, it's really impressive the work behind it. None of the games you list (I like them all by the way, I agree they are among the best) have such complexity, so I really hope the dev fixes the lacking aspects of this game (rendering quality, sex scenes, grammar, a few bugs).

I have finelly found the time to play this game...
I read about complexity to make a walkthrough but why?
is the game too bugged?
If you make always the same choices the resulting scene will be different?
in any case I have found a way to play the game version 1.3 from the start by follow only the girls that I like and save the important choices related to be able to back to that point if required or i want to choose a different route and save at the start of the scene/dialogue of the girls that I prefer...
skip with random choices all girls where i'm not interested (only focused to be sure to avoid to go to fuck them)
by this way i managed to reach the day 76 in about 5 hours from the start...
I think a simple walkthrough can be done by this way...
JUST writing the points of the game that must be saved.... in order to back on them if you want follow different route.

Apologies, assumed you were a native English speaker. I don't know the Italian education system, but I know a lot of coutries does not have any compulsory English tuition.
I have seen some pretty bad English on this site. And I will be the first to admit, I can only take so much in terms of bad grammar, before I stop playing the game. With that being said, none of HG games came close to that. In fact if I play his games, it feels like the game characters are foreigners speaking English. The biggest initial language issue for me in his game were the swapping of genders in some of his sentences.
However, his own grammar improving along with additional proofreading, have made this issue almost negligible for me. It would also be the type of error that I typically make when writing in English, if it's not your home language .(I'm also not a native speaker, but we have English as a compulsory second language)
Getting back to a top tier game:
I actually agree with you on most things here, BUT of the five that I mentioned, there is not really something that you can say was badly done in the game. It was done professionally, the interface is beautiful. The videos are smooth. The renders are perfect. etc. etc.
Yes, some other games might have a better story, or more complex plots or better characters. But they are typically not as well rounded in all aspects of the game, like my definition of a top tier game. The attention to detail in those games are just phenomenal. For instance in "Light of my Light" every character in the game have their own customer font that fits their personality during dialogues. You won't easily find any grammar issues. The renders are crisp. Technically, you can no fault these games. It's like the difference between AAA and Indy games. You can find an Indy game that you enjoy much more then a AAA game, but you just do not have the same production value. For instance "The Godfather" could be seen as the best movie of all time, but I just enjoyed "Desperado" more.
I terms of sound. To each his own, but I disagree. Sound IF done well, can be a big enhancement to a game.
For instance in NCC, I love the sound and music. It's one of my favourite bits in NCC. I help creates the atmosphere. I think it works, because the scene and by extension the songs are just the right length to not become boring or hurt your ears. Another game that did this very well was of course "Being a DiK" and "Reincarnotica". Haley's Story's implementation of music for me was..... erm... not so good.
TLDR: The definition of Top Tier is of course personal, so this is just my opinions. I think I made my opinion on this clear over two posts now, so this will be my final thoughts on this. Despite everything, NCC is still probably my favourite game on here.

It should be great to make a little mod to allow write some description and details in the saves.. because this game requires free time to play... and in August I have time but soon I will be busy... so I will forget some of points saved...
Allow description on saves should be very helpful if I want back on the game after weeks or months.

in any case for me the best route to avoid boring routes is follow Maud/Kristen route... and also Irene...
in any case the bad of this game is related to the TOO SHORT SEX scene (just about 4 pics and cum)...
in The Follower sex scene was too short too but there was a better system asset in some sex scene related to the satisfaction points of the girls...

I'm not that young, I didn't study English in elementary school: I started in junior high and my teacher was an inept.
I learned English listening to music (mainly rap) when I was a teenager.
Most grammar errors (your/you're) are distracting. That is: the plot is very complex and I'm more careful to build the plot than to control some grammar details. I can't do both at the same time without wasting a lot of time.
To be honest in many moments I use an online translator to go faster, I often check and change what the translator does. Sometimes (since I am concentrated in the plot and in "What will be said next") I miss some gross mistakes (your/her... I mean. the translator very often translates "her" to "Your" or "him" instead of "her" as first option. Often I don't notice it because maybe I'm checking other parts of the sentence that the translator has translated worse)
When I' ll earn enough money with this game I will hire a translator from Italian to English so I can write the game in Italian and leave the effort of translating it to someone else. Many dialogues I had to simplify because it is difficult for me to express in English what I think in Italian.
I know that beautifullest is a mistake, but it is just a remnant of how I learned English (there was a song called the most beautifullest thing in this world... even in Italian would be wrong:la cosa piu bellissima del mondo. But beautifullest has impressed me and I like lol)

But concerning the Harley story, I remember that before the reboot It was possible to have sex with Valentina and her but I never got this scene since the reboot, only the double bj on the beach.
And also near the end of 1.3, Harley asks if i still don't want to go to one of her parties but I never had the option to go at one of her parties I think

It requires login so I cannot vote. It's strange, I reached it every time I played and accepted the deal most of the time. I must have been on the "bad boy" path all the times :-D
I think other paths are more difficult to reach (the threesomes, that I think exist). But it's fine, I like playing many paths at the same time if the story is interesting.
The Ashley bug prevents many future scenes I suppose, has it been fixed and should we replay the game from day 70?

The Ashley bugs is fixed. and if you play just the last release 1.3 there is a fix that allow you to get the path.
Obviously it's better if you replay from day 69/70.
