That's funny, isn't it? You'd think in the pandemic, people would have more time for it.With the pandemic, these games had slower updates, and generally shorter content as well.
That's true, when the pandemic started I thought the same thing, of course some people's lives became more difficult, and one would expect that one game or another would be postponed or discontinued for various reasons like needing to look for a new type work, earn money, some people sadly died. But what intrigued me is that all the games that are still being produced now have the same pattern of delay in releasing updates and shorter updates, which leads to the thought of being something more conscientious, planned and not an inconvenience. That's funny, isn't it? You'd think in the pandemic, people would have more time for it.
As I said, you'd expect some people's lives to become more difficult, busier... but what intrigues us is that the pandemic has affected everyone so equally. I work with technology although I'm not a programmer, and doing home office I actually spend more time on work now than before, but for example going to work I spent 3-4 hours in traffic, which doesn't happen now, so I imagined that, like me, some people would end up having the same free time or, in special cases, even more free time.if you work like me in a hospital you would see that since the beginning of the covid the days are long and difficult and therefore much less time to do anything else
No offense but which porn game developer works in the hospital (whether as a doctor, nurse, etc.)? That is rather unlikely. Statistically, most developers of this genre work more in the IT industry.if you work like me in a hospital you would see that since the beginning of the covid the days are long and difficult and therefore much less time to do anything else
Oh, you are a statistician then, arent you?No offense but which porn game developer works in the hospital (whether as a doctor, nurse, etc.)? That is rather unlikely. Statistically, most developers of this genre work more in the IT industry.
I see that there is some discontent about my delays. I swear if I could I would release one full game a month, no an update every now and then.Oh, you are a statistician then, arent you?
Glad to have you on board here, apart from posting regular free/public patreon updates, another thing you can be useful around...So what are exact numbers there? 80-90-95-99% of all porn-games devs come from IT sector?
Quite curious to know it?
On the side note according to my sources, most of regulars here work as writers/scenarists, hence very entertaining discussions in many threads.

According to my profile, I am only an "active member". But I am also a realist. We shouldn't pretend that the majority of us here are artists, doctors, lawyers or the like. Most of the people here at F95Zone won't even have regular jobs.Oh, you are a statistician then, arent you?

I wasn't specifically talking about your game, but the games posted here in general, after the pandemic the release time got longer and the content shorter in all games, it's more an observation of what happened and not a complaint.I see that there is some discontent about my delays. I swear if I could I would release one full game a month, no an update every now and then.
The problem is that there is so much to do. The game is very complex at this point and every time I proceed I have to make a series of crosses to see that everything works, it's very different than when I just started the game the stories were simpler.
Beyond that is my Real life. I don't have a steady job. I do different jobs in different industries, over my lifetime I have accumulated many experiences and many skills, so I can do various things and get paid. The next month I will do a speech in front of some of the most important people in the Italian music scene, last month I designed the menu of a restaurant and always next month will release a capsule collection of a brand to which I have collaborated. This allows me to do a kind of life that I like, do different activities and not get bored. making video games is one of these activities, I would really like to have much more time to devote to it and I guarantee that I devote most of my free time because it is something that I really enjoy a lot. But my brain is busy in dozens of different activities every day
then now that travel restrictions have been relaxed i have done milan venice rome milan venice rome milan venice rome in a month and a half. at the end of the month i will be in amsterdam
but... the main reason for the delay is that i'm making new renders for almost the whole game and this is taking time. the scenes that before were composed of 15/20 renders, now have a hundreds, with small animations. i'm fixing all the storylines that were not deepened and creating more in-depth side events. I'm doing a lot of things, version 1.6 will not be just an update of a week of play, it will be almost a new game so, be patient. As I said, most of my free time I devote to the game and I have big plans about it, which I will tell you when I have completed this update.
My point was aimed to your claim "most devs are from IT sector" which isnt entirely true, at least according to my sources - they do come from various surroundings, medical profession included. Even if not, this shitty virus can mess up anyones life up-side-down, so, a more patience than usual is needed here, as well as in other areas of life/work, i would say.According to my profile, I am only an "active member". Unfortunately, the internet makes us quickly forget that we are normal people. I've seen chats and forums where people think they're important. But so be it ...
Regarding NCC ... I have no problem with HoneyGames and NCC is currently my favorite game in this genre. And when the game is officially released, I will most likely also buy a monthly membership at PATREON. So you see, I am also a consumer.
Thanks for the hard work, man. It's very appreciatedI see that there is some discontent about my delays. I swear if I could I would release one full game a month, no an update every now and then.

I just can say thank youSuch an fantastic game, bravo! The scope and ambition of New Coral City is nonpareil and unmatched in almost every category, in terms of the characters, their designs, the interweaving stories, in the amount of choices, and the respectable length. The characters are all so realistic in their amoral sensibilities, sheer vanity, and ostentatiousness. They're dislikable individuals, but they're hot and attractive, so it balances out, just like in real life.
NCC is also the only game I can think of where the setting plays a big part in the enjoyment, the amount of characters, and the branching stories and plotlines, that overwhelming feeling of being alone in a new city is present throughout in trying to hustle for work and maintain relationships. The 'small photographer in a big city' aspect in NCC is conveyed so convincingly, the dev must have some experience in dealing with these types of individuals in similar situations. The premise thankfully isn't some generic wish fulfillment harem fantasy, and doesn't shy away from depicting the complexity of dating, hooking up, friends with benefits relationships, and freaky sexual encounters.
Only downside about NCC is how it must be an utter nightmare to code; so many variations, attributes, and characters to keep track of. It's also a long game, so the script isn't as tight and cohesive as a shorter one might be, and the sex scenes lack in certain areas. Overall, however, the strengths of this game, and what it's trying to accomplish is so ballsy and ambitious, I can't help but admire the assuredness and the interesting direction this game is heading toward. I can't wait for the new update, and wish the developer every success in this regard.
