Hello 2025
Happy New Year! We're in 2025 now! I know I'm a bit late to 2025 than everybody else, but hear me out please.
I was down with a pretty severe flu since the last few days of last year, and I had only mostly recovered now. I've been bed-ridden for almost two weeks. That means I spent my birthday and New Year's Eve in my bed coughing and being miserable.
Yeah, it wasn't fun but I didn't choose to be sick either, just being unlucky. I was also very busy prior to getting flu, as you all know I didn't get any holiday during Christmas season, and rather my work got even busier during that period.
Fear not, I have almost recovered by now! Now I got tons of work and things to catch up to. Don't worry, I have arranged a little holiday for myself in the coming weeks, so KS won't be a skeleton any time soon.
Anyway, I hope you all had a great holiday season and enjoyed some quality time with your friends, family, and loved ones.
For those who knew and remembered my birthday and gave me a good wish and blessings in my server, thank you all. I have seen them, but I didn't have the energy to answer to them at that time. However, I have received them, so I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Wallpaper for everyone
Some people have been asking about the banner art for my Patreon page and also my Discord server, and they seem to really like it. That's why I decided to make it a wallpaper for everyone to celebrate the new year and two years of New Horizon.
Thank you all for supporting me and the game for such a long time. We'll continue to stride forward.
Regarding Chika
Here I will be addressing some concerns and misunderstandings regarding Chika in the update 0.3.
It's interesting to see the many reactions from the players about Chika's development so far. I see some prejudice and some are very quick to judge. If you just want quick sex and super fast relationships then my game is definitely not for you. This is more about how characters overcome their past and sufferings, and really get to know each other. Just like real life. You learn more about someone as you spend more time with them, in various different situations. You can choose to love them, or ignore them. You're not forced to go with any specific route.
I guess some immediately think it's gonna be love or relationship from the start. However, it could be friendship or just wanna help someone get a better life. She helped your sister too. Many don't realize that a lot of love also starts from friendships.
I would say that you shouldn't see the girls in my game as purely "Love interests". They're just more prominent characters that are featured in the stories and ones that you can interact with. I don't consider my game a typical AVN. I'm merely writing stories I want to present.
That being said, you can still help Chika, without being in love with her.
A girl you met a week ago and only talked to a few times won't just magically spills all of the secrets and stories about herself. You have to know that relationship takes time, especially for someone who was hurt so many times like her, if you're really interested in her, help her open up her heart, instead of giving her another bad experience.
There's a lot you need to uncover about her story to fully understand, and the truth will surprise you.
This has become like a test or experiment. Some stop caring and walk away as soon as they see that there are some indications that she's a "prostitute"(the quotation marks matter, as you will understand it in future updates), and never try to fully understand her. They will miss out on some good stories, and the truth is not what everybody thinks.
As for those few who's calling this NTR or not vanilla, well... All I can say is that you don't really fully understand the meaning of those tags, and you made judgement too quickly. Her story is only just starting. If you actually try to overcome your prejudice and try to uncover her, you will know more about the truth. But if you still decide against it, it's very easy to end her route as well. I didn't force you to go through with her story, it's completely up to you. What I can say is that this is not a NTR game, and is vanilla. You will understand if you're willing to play future updates and actually uncover her story.
Do you really expect every girl you see to be a complete virgin? That no girls had prior sex experience with their ex or whoever? We already have some girls that are virgins. I don't want to make it into some virgin collector game. Don't forget, MC isn't a virgin as well, he had an ex, so please stop having double standards. My game has its own unique audience. So for those who don't like it, you got like at least 1000 other AVNs to try, no need to leave useless hateful comments or reviews about that one thing you don't agree with(the toxic players). Provide some actual feedback please.
It’s okay to not like her, I respect your preference. But I definitely have no respect for those that make fun of her suffering and status, or leave 1 star review just because they hate “prostitute”. They’re the exact kind of people Chika is referring to in the story, and the reason why we can’t have nice things. Everyone and every job deserve respect, even if you don’t agree with or like it.
Whatever the case is, I stand by the story I’m creating, I don’t really care if some fainthearted players don’t like it because they can’t take it. If they’re not willing to try to see past their own prejudice and judgment, and watch how the story plays out, then I don’t really want them to play my game either. This is clearly not for them.
People will keep talking, while I keep cooking.
Anyway, that was a long post. I originally didn't plan to make this, but I guess I should make some things more clear here.
