It would be acceptable to me if the Chika was a former prostitute. But the fact that she continues to be one in real time doesn't work for me... as are the arguments to ignore her route, given that the full harem is literally sewn into the canon of the prologue.

She literally explains it to you in the game, if you chose not to ignore her, she explains that being a prostitute is the fastest way to earn big money for her father's fucked up expenses (Drinking and gambling). The reason she stays is because while her dad is in this state, he is still family and she reminisces how he was a good man before the down times.

Furthermore, it looks like she will stop being one when the MC scared the fuck out of the dad by taking a bottle to the face (He got scared). Changed dad meaning less being a dick meaning more responsible father to make up for mistakes meaning no more prostitution for money.

Nah ayase is definitely the strongest. Now even if mc learns to completely knows to use his powers ayase will still wash him. At least she needs to recharge with mc juice to continue using her ability

As for white knighting, its called empathy to look at the bigger picture. White knighting is defending her no matter what, being empathetic is understanding the situation and how we can get her out of that situation.

If you've played the game, you've probably seen that she's been abused since she was a child, and if she manages to get the money she needs so badly by suffering this abuse, what she can do is accept her situation, it's called "making the best of the situation", it doesn't mean she likes her situation.

From what the game has indicated, she was betrayed and deceived by those who offered her help, the point is that she wanted help, it's not her fault that she only found people without empathy.

In this game, you play as a hero, literally a hero, a knight in shining armor, and having empathy is a minimum requirement, if you don't have empathy you won't be able to enjoy this game and you'll only hate the characters, like some of you have done.

I also don't want to discuss this because I know some are just trolling, I'm just commenting for those who are still thinking about playing the game, which I definitely recommend.

Do I think Chika's situation sucks? Sure she's been through some tough shit but just because I feel for her does not make me want to have her as a LI.

Although I may be biased because I'm still upset that KS removed my glorious Yuka as a main LI but choose to keep a literal prostitute as one.

And I have to start a romance with her out of pity? It may be very sad, but my MC is not going to have a romance or sex with her for that reason. So yes, I will continue to avoid it (romance) and if that makes her continue being a prostitute, then bad luck.

I still think making her a prostitute was a bit too dark and unnecessary, there are many paths he could have gone, maybe she overworks herself with many part-time jobs and is considering prostitution and it is at this point that we can consider helping her.

I recommend the use of UCD and URM.

And in this game, something I noticed is that Love Points are not always ideal, to get the scenes you have to accumulate Lust Points, even if you lose some Love Points with that.
An example is the scene with Miharu in your apartment, where to get the scene with her, you have to choose +Lust -Love.

And Ayase trusts you with Love Points, but with Lust Points, she feels sexual attraction towards you.

Apparently there are no Love Points, just "Point" and "Lust", but you get the idea.

I suspect she will give up prostitution if she starts a romance with the MC. Although from what I've seen, it's possible not. I certainly won't see first hand what happens.

I don't care about the ex. Considering that you have scenes with other girls who aren't LIs at all and don't seem like they're going to be part of the harem, you might also have scenes with them without being part of the harem in this case.
