This is a swell project, chum. I just finished reading "Farewell my lovely" for like the third time or so, and I know all the major works of Raymond Chandler and Dashiel Hammett by rote and they take the spotlight among my sources of inspiration.
Sure, I know this isn't the same thing: I like my noir as sour as a rainy Monday and judging by your pictures your VN is all gaudy and colourful and maybe even funny. But I felt the lack of a decent porn parody of Marlowe for so much time that I won't care if this isn't the real deal.

Well, Altman's take on "The Long Goodbye" has another feature that's even more relevant to a forum like thisdeuxrayme There are also less conservative movies about Marlowe. For example with Elliott Gould which is pretty close to Nick Cage image.

There was an HBO series back in the 80s Philip Marlowe, Private Eye that adapted the various novels as well. It starred Powers Boothe (Deadwood, Tombstone, The Avengers and many more).

There is one more news for those who are familiar with my previous games. I switched from DAZ to Honey to try something new and speed up my work. And now after some experience I think that I can make updates faster this was when I was working on Mysterious Erotic Theater.

I have never had a shortage of short stories in my entries. Right now I have drafts for about seven of the next episodes. And also many scenarios were not implemented in my previous games.
My delays were mainly related to PC power and motivation.

Just for plot info. The Cat was proto in 'The Agent Who Barely Knows Enything'. So all evil Hudsucker Industries and smart Cat stuff having root in my previos games.
Not necesserry to know what it all was about but it didn't pop up from nowhere. It has backstory.

If you feel sad about episode plot i can reassure you, the smartest cat escaped from laboratory long time ago. And he feels pretty good. Nothing bad happened to him. Everyone who is familiar with my previous games knows this.

One reason I can see for people leaving a sad reaction is that it is from disappointment. I already pointed out that "Marlowe Noir" carries a different feel than what is presented here. I know it's not Philip Marlowe, but the surname and "noir" carry a meaning. The first episode had some ways of making me think that it is a story that is a parody of film noir detectives. The second episode felt like it was going a different direction but gave me the idea that each episode was a different story, so the third one might go back to something like the first one. Then the third one comes out and it's a continuation of the story from episode 2 but doesn't really tie into that episode in any meaningful way and I really can't find a way to describe what I got from it but the best I can say is that the protagonist feels emotionless and I'm not sure there has really been any detective work done in either ep 2 or 3. I hope this little feedback can help you improve, but I really don't think this game even works as a parody of noir or hardboiled detective fiction.
