You're most likely thinking about the
Boned mod.
Personally, I don't recommend this mod because, in my opinion, it's too bullshit and unfair, plus Boned mod's author was weirdly aggressive about defending his changes, though I guess that doesn't matter at this point.
I'd recommend
NoREroMod instead, as it's a very customizable mod, where you can change many aspects to make the game easier or harder, for example: you can make it so weapons that scale with INT restore your mana, thus allowing you to use magic more often; How much stamina is expended when you dodge; If the enemies are randomly replaced with an elite variant (they look the same, but have a different color hue, have more health and deal more damage); Make enemies actually damage you when they fuck you and give you a pleasure debuff that makes your attacks weaker and slower, and so on. Feel free to try both mods, though I recommend you make a copy of your game, just in case you don't like the mod and want to go back to vanilla game.
