I'm having an issue where the game softlocks when I try to start a new game, or load the save with the least progress. Any ideas for how to fix that?

Would be funny if it was a monkey paw situation, and the only links on the first page are now the softlocked ones.
I haven't checked them, so who knows.

PS: I just tested MEGA link from the first post and I think it's not softlocked. So yeah, grab that one if other links are bugged.

Haha clicking on all the links they do seem to have "fixed" in the title so its probably good. When I contacted the mods I did recommend putting the version you linked in the OP also but they didnt seem to do it, maybe because its slightly modded.
Boned mod .dll file with grabs removed from the mod, since there Overpowered and annoying in my opinion. Just replace the .dll file of the boned mod with this one and should be good to go. Only tested on forest area so far but non of those enemies can no longer grab you when standing too close.

The event at the very top of the slums if you have previously found Suzume and talked to her in the 3 previous areas. Or losing to a certain enemies in the slums also takes you there.

For some reason the game is still in Japanese even though I thought I installed the translated version from the MEGA link. Am I missing something? Am I just being stupid? I've skimmed the files and haven't found any clues :/

hello, anyone knows how can i change my costume? I bought a costume from the witch but in the menu i can't select my costume, nothing happen
The game uses an auto translation tool. So it requires an active internet connection and takes a little while (depending on your internet). I'm not sure it works on linux though, you can search for BepInEx, AutoTranslator to check, since that's the program that reads Unity game text, uses an online translation software (google translate by default), and overlays the translation over the game.
Never played it on steamdeck but I found this video of the translation working on steam deck using GE-Proton 7.47 and launch parameters WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%

Its been a while since ive done it but I THINK that you do it from save points

Idk if its just me but ive been told to put the 2 files into the data but i have no clue where to find the modded enemy does anyone know where i can find it? its the Wolf

is there a place with all available mods listed somewhere? not gonna lie its kinda bothersome to go through 400+ pages and look out for mods lol. I mean, if I have to, I will still do it in the end, since I love this game. But still, if there was an easier way that would be of great help

The slimes in the early areas and the black slimes in the library area (IIRC) are the only ones in the base game. I think some mods added it in to other enemies too.
