Best way to have a new experience playing night of revenge?

Honestly, just download the game from the first page (from the "bug fixed" section, obviously.) and play the game.
The only problem with the "bug fixed" version is that it might not have the uncensor, because that was the main reason for the infamous "touch interactable object, get soft locked" bug, but the game doesn't shove vaginas in your face very often (in my opinion), so the only censored thing you'll be staring at, most of the time, will be dicks.

If the censorship really makes you angry, though, download the game from Krongorka's post. The link is the one called "MEGA (Download Link)", and the only massive changes, when compared to the "bug fixed" version, are no censorship and the fat dude's animation being extended by Krongorka (the one shown in the linked post, in the vanilla game the girl never drops her legs).



This is definitely not for new players, but if after you played enough of this game you find some parts of it lacking, then I recommend you download the NoREroMod from this link. It adds a lot of new mechanics and changes to the game and almost everything is easily customizable through the config file. The instructions on how to install and customize the mod are in the linked post. Again, this whole NoREroMod stuff is not for new players, but just something I'd recommend for those who already played the game.

bgtbbb Hello! Once again thank you so much for your mod and such detailed customization of everything! After some time i decided to play this wonderful game again and when i was doing this, i again had a couple of suggestions, to make mod even more perfect, if they are still being accepted! I'll go from the most easily implemented to the weird and most complicated. It's always up to you to decide what to implement.

1. Config setting that allows all normal (not elite) mobs to grab. (essentially the same mobs that can become elite (like not a dummy))
For now im just playing with all mobs elite without color and significant stat buffs, so they're all look like regular ones, but this setting would allow for true elite mobs to be encountered with their own modifiers.

2. Config setting that allows regular attacks knock you down (with custom percentage) I really like randomness because it creates unexpected situations and breaks up the monotony. So, this setting can create many unexpected situations!
You can also add to this the setting that while you are jumping, normal attacks have a higher chance of knocking you down (custom %)

3. Config setting that allows bosses to grab, and boss hp multiplier setting. Without grabs (bosses cant be elite to make them grab you), bosses just getting facerolled, but in principle this is not so important, because there are very few of them, but still it was a cool challenge when i was playing with boned mod, and grabs there works like random so each hitch and boss touch often killed you so you must be perfect (bosses in this game actually easy to avoid and be perfect if you know the strat)


4. Make air grabs instant (theres config setting that allows air grabs), now when you fly over a mob's head and touching it with your leg, it's like you're hitting the air, slowly falling, and only then the animation starts. It looks funny and isn't critical, since it still does its job (preventing you from cheesing mobs by simply jumping through them).


5. Since i love randomness, i came up with another idea: setting that (randomly, custom %) doubles (or more) your SP gain on struggle when struggle in time and also setting that (randomly, custom %) decreases your SP gain on struggle, (when struggle in time), like when you struggle not in time.
So, with these setting you'll have some % to get additional SP or lose it when struggling (in time), with the right % this can add even more unpredictability (some times you need just a little to escape), or even make the whole struggle process random if you set both values to 0.5 and disable SP loss and regeneration over time.


6. The idea with trapped savepoints can be expanded: When you interact with trapped savepoint with extinguished candles, instead of an instant game over, mobs (at your discretion how many and what) will appear and insta grab you, the altar becomes active, but you will have to get out of grab, deal with mobs or lead them away to use it. It can be same mobs like inquisitors, mobs from this location, like bandits in forest etc, random mobs from all game for even more randomness, or just a single trap or mimic.


7. Setting that when picking up any item (with custom %), a group of mobs will spawn, you will be caught by a trap or a mimic, in general, everything is the same as with the previous one, but when picking up items. More unexpected scenarios for those who are too good at dealing with expected scenarios.


So far this is all that came to my mind (from the realistic), there are also options with random placement of mobs, traps, mimics, but this is too difficult to implement.

And thanks again, your mod really lets you make from this game a real replayable challenge and i love it!

For all asking how to play on ANDROID
Heres a quick solution and tutorial, with all links attatched, and guiding images

Start by installing winlator 5.0
Has to be 5.0 or it wont run, do NOT download latest version

You must be registered to see the links

This will test as a false positive when you try to install the apk, it is safe and is the official winlator.

Once you have installed winlator download the obb as it asks in the app.
Create a container using the + on the top right of screen

Set graphics driver to VirGl
And DX wrapper to WineD3D
(these are the 2 that worked best for me performance wise, this may vary on your device)

Leave CPU0 unticked and have the rest active, CPU0 must be left unticked to leave resources available for the rest of your device.

This step depends on your device specs
If you have 6gb of ram, set this to 4096
If you have 4gb of ram, set it to 2048
If you have less than 4gb of ram you wont be able to run the emulator.

The only thing you want to change here is the DirectSound setting, set to (windows), and leave the rest as (Wine)

And last of all, change this number from 512mb, to 1024, this will increase performance, dont go higher than this, depending on your specs, changing this number can have the opposite effect.

I will cannot link the file for this control layout, but go to your control settings, and create a button layout, this has every button you need to play the game, recreate this, or make whatevers comfortable for you.

Lastly, click 3 dots and run the container, store night of revenge in your downloads folder btw, click on D:
navigate to the exe, and run the game.
If you have low fps, set containers resolution to minimum possible, and same for the game config itself.

I also cant figure out how to get the translation working, with this method 98% of the game is in japanese, i've been working on a fix for a few days to no avail, if anyone knows of a solution that would be a huge help.

Either way, its not pretty, but its playable.

Oh and 1 more thing - You already have a setting that removes exp on creampie, making setting that fills up pleasure paralysis bar after creampie would be great! (imagine 100% paralysis after single creampie, with reset to zero after climax it can create cool loop with short and random (depends on mob) opportunity window)

Are you playing with sound on?
Generally i listen to the main menu music
After opening the gallery the music will play for a few minutes while the screen is black,
Once the music stops it'll take roughly another 30 seconds to load.

The game preloads the entire gallery, and game over scenes before it opens,
This is bound to take a while, and unfortunately theres no way to speed it up,
But it DOES work.

Just be warned that once you select a game over scene to watch, youll probably have to restart the whole game and reopen the gallery.
It takes ages for it to get back to the gallery, and resetting the whole thing ends up being faster

My last tidbit of advice, make sure you have fps displaying in winlator, youll be able to see when its loading by when it freezes, and in combination with listening to the music, you get a good idea of where it is in the loading process.
