Like almost everyone else, I'm getting tired of hearing this "yOu cAn'T pLaY aS a fEmAlE cHaRaCtEr iN tHiS gAmE" garbage that is blatantly false. As much as I think that this game is an even more mediocre version of Crowjob in Space with even worse artwork, this argument is getting to a level of autism that's getting out of hand. In No Vacancy you can, in fact, play as a FEMALE PLAYER CHARACTER. You control the character in the first person perspective and you have a reasonable amount of control over the character. In sex scenes it switches to a 3rd person perspective where, with the power of God himself, you have control of how the scene flows. Now I can hear the incoming stupidity of "yOu dOn'T pLaY aS hEr bEcAuSe tHeRe iSn'T a sCeNe fOcUsInG oN hEr pLeAsUrE aNd tHere iSn'T a sCeNe wHeRe sHe cUmS". Well, I raise the counterargument that you control her in the first person, you dictate where she goes in the hotel, you can initiate interactions with NPCs, and you can choose how you respond in those interactions, therefor, you are in full control of a female player character. Whether or not there is a sex scene focusing on the pleasure of your character is irrelevant. In Legend of Krystal: Rebirth, there aren't many scenes dedicated to Krystal's pleasure, rather the pleasure of other characters. Despite that, you are still in control of Krystal in LoK:R because you control her through the 3rd person omniscient perspective, dictate where she goes, initiate interactions, and control how she interacts with the villagers. You meet the criteria for controlling a character in this game when playing the female character. This isn't an argument about whether or not you control a certain character, as that argument doesn't work, instead, this is an argument about content, or lack thereof, for the female player character. You want more scenes focusing on her pleasure? There is an easy solution: stop bitching, create your own character (if you don't have one), dig out your wallet, commission Palmarianfire, and have more lesbian scenes put into this game. Problem fucking solved.

And it took him around 2 years of having a "female version", to include a playable female, instead of just having you play the male NPC's.

It's a poorly handled clusterfuck.
And commission wise: Choosing genitals is still exclusive to male characters only.

At this rate, I'm not sure if it'll manage to pick back up. But, it'll prolly manage to deliver average, sub-par content.

hes remaking his game from like 5 years ago thats still in early development the og game had locked content still that was also patreon exclusive but for a dollar which is still better than most patreon games isnt bad plus i wouldnt complain about price when you are on a pirate website

You DO know that a sizable chunk of this community is dedicated to reviewing games and shit?
To find out IF they are worth paying for? For many, me included: This is basically our "Rotten Tomatoes" or "Metacritic".
Say you find... "Butt Blaster 2000" and the game sounds really cool. But: then you go here and find out it actually sucks ass. And not in a good way. And all the storefront promises are just lies. Then you know you dodged a bullet. But: If it DID live up to all expectations: You'd be more inclined to support it.

That's how many pirates do. Some pirate cuz they can't afford it, or the game isn't availible where they live.
But as said: A decent chunk has been burned too many times by both AAA and online games, where "try before you buy" has become a necessity. Yes, it's not a perfect system. But it has saved my ass a ton of times over games that lie shamelessly about ex: having lesbian content, or having a female PC.

you DO know most if not all of these patreon games have public builds to see if they are worth supporting ripping the newest version to "test'' if the game is good or not isnt an valid reason just admit you cant spare 1-5 dollars for the newest version on patreon i can unless i like the game enough to pay for it
