It's funny, I remember after ch2 someone had this exact same comment, so I went back to find my reply then.My one small comment/criticism about the game is how MC kept on happily drinking even when he knew he had alcohol issue in the past despite MC seemingly be quite a reasonable character. Sure he avoided tequila (when he knew about it), but surely not making active decision to be careful about drinking other alcohol feels out of character, especially after the blackout we got early in the game. It seems the alcohol issue is quite a big deal but not being treated as such by MC (and by the friends who knew about it too). I don't know how the plot will move forward about this, but I wish I have the agency to stop MC from drinking.
On a happier note, I really like how the non-LI girls continue to be relevant and get developed. There are so many hot girls in this game, and I look forward to seeing them in spicy situation.
I know that doesn't explain, well, anything, really. But to double down on the above, there is a reason you don't get a choice. While this is a game where choices matter, I am (unfortunately?) railroading the player to a certain series of events. Thus, some things are going to be forced to happen. All of this will be explained as we go, don't worry. But it is a bit contradictory for a reason; you don't get a choice for a reason.
And it's also worth remembering it's not just alcohol he admits to having a history with. But yeah, you'd think a guy with an admitted problem in the past with alcohol would maybe try to avoid it, wouldn't you?
That's totally fine. Railroading is definitely needed at times and judging from your reply, it does sound like the alcohol issue is going to be relevant to the plot so it's understandable for the MC to "do something silly/out of character, and make the mistake by continuing drinking".I know that doesn't explain, well, anything, really. I'm generally in the camp of "less is more" exactly because I think too many girls are simply too much work for solo devs that could end up overwhelming. However, I think this game can avoid that because you're already very clear about LI being the ones that can become MC's girlfriend while everyone else are side girls. On the side girls etc. I'm just hoping I'm able to give them enough time, really. That's the only little concern for me, that I won't be able to do enough with them, and perhaps that doing so might oversaturate the game. It's one of those time will tell things, though, so I guess we'll see!
So in ch1 there is this section of conversation, which is a little like what you're saying, but it'll come up again, don't worry. That's totally fine. If you're open to any comment about this, maybe it'd help to add a small scene with someone like Alex (or other friends who knew about the issue) showing concern after/during all the drinking, just something small like "Make sure you don't overdo it next time" or "Let me know ahead of time if you want me to keep an eye on your drinking next time" or something like that. This will allow MC to continue drinking for future plot purpose but also give the acknowledgement that it is an issue and MC is doing something wrong that he didn't really want to.

You also have the benefit that the game revolves around fraternity and sorority houses which means side girls can easily appear in groups so that a lot of their development can be done in group setting and then you only need the 1-on-1 scenes for those who are elevated to the sex scene. You basically just have to figure out which side girls are going to have sex scenes and which are not.
1. Those who are not going to have sex with MC can become like Ella where their sexy/nudity scene can be done in group setting.
2. Those who are going to have sex with MC can become like Mariah/Lucy where they get 1-on-1 scene without needing continuous major development every chapter as they are not going to be MC's girlfriend.
Hypothetically speaking, my expectation for Chapter 4's side girl content would be:
1. Ella to continue getting naked because she's an exhibitioninst that I expect to get naked every chapter
2. The next "Ella" side girls who won't get sex scene to have some sexy/nudity scene (maybe Kelly? Taylor?)
3. The next "Mariah/Lucy" side girls to have sex scene with MC. (maybe Molly? Rosie?)
But ultimately up to you. It's your game and I'm just here for the ride. You've done a great job so far and I'm sure you'll continue to do so.
Good to know such scene will come up again. Acknowledgement scenes like that would definitely help make the plot more alive IMO.So in ch1 there is this section of conversation, which is a little like what you're saying, but it'll come up again, don't worry
I just hope Kelly is not at the very bottom background tier. I'm surprised Melody is on the prominent side, but yeah, looking forward how they all get developed.I've mentioned before that I essentially have them in different tiers, not literally, but functionally. You've got more prominent side girls (so far think Chloe, Lucy, Melody), then you've got the less developed (but still with scene(s)) (Mariah, Lauren so far), and then another tier below that of kind of the rest. The tiers aren't concrete, really, it's just a bit of an easier way to illustrate things.
I only referenced Melody as a higher tier example right now because of the scene with her in ch3 being a little more intimate/romantic than you've got with other side girls so far, despite not being an actual 'scene'. But like I say the tiers are kinda arbitrary or fluid, more so for illustrative purposes than something standardizedGood to know such scene will come up again. Acknowledgement scenes like that would definitely help make the plot more alive IMO.

She's very much the flirty girl who is pretty forward, certainly isn't shy. I feel like we've just scratched the surface with her and there may be more than meets the eye. However she is still just a side girl, so I'm not sure how deep her story will go.May I ask where does Rachel fit in there? I was surprised they hadn't fooled around more at this point.
There should already be a 'dialogue box opacity' slider in the preferences, let me know if it's not there though as it should beDEV please do something about textbox background give us slider to make it more see through thx
So if you want a look behind the curtain side girl content is the one slightly malleable thing in the game. I have a lot of it planned out, naturally, but this is one aspect of the game that is little more subject to change. If it feels right I might throw in an extra side girl scene if the conversation/scenario might naturally lead there. And in other cases I might push a scene back if I don't quite think it fits into the timeline.May I ask where does Rachel fit in there? I was surprised they hadn't fooled around more at this point.
I got it by having MC lose at strip beer pong.Hey loved chapter 3,
Question, how do you get the "Consolation prize" scene?
