Two points:

1) Patreon's ban is 100% placed there by the credit card companies. If Patreon wants to continue to function and take credit/debit cards, they must follow the CC company's puritanical rules.

2) The game is written in Ren'Py. I think you mean rendered with Daz or something.

I believe the Patreon issue is PayPal (credit card companies have no issue with porn sites and OnlyFans so...) but regardless - Patreon can, at a drop of a dime, decide to target AVNs that have been on Patreon for years (and the AVN is suddenly out of compliance for content that has been 'supported' by Patreon for years).

Also - re: HS - you are correct - HS based AVNs cannot be sold on sites like Steam while Daz and Unity, for example, do not have that prohibition (render engines).

Yes, but the AVN is done in HS versus Daz and Blender so if you are looking for something photorealistic - this (like all HS AVNs) is not going to tick that box.

I like the character models, the character development that occurs and so much more.

If you are interested in a good apocalypse story with engaging characters and real-world considerations - this AVN has a Director's Cut, it's complete and it is, IMO, Very good.

It's worth a download and an hour of your time to see if this is a story that interests you, especially given that it is actually Complete.

If you find you like the dev's style and story-telling, then you have struck AVN gold as the dev has another completed AVN (The Interim Domain) which is complete and will be getting a Director's Cut later this year.

There is also a third AVN by the dev (TOXICity) that gets monthly updates and will see it's 7th update in about a week.

This game really surprised me. I didnt think id enjoy it as much as I did. The reviews are what made me do it and im glad I did. If anyone is thinking about this game and is looking at comments or reviews this is your sign. All the girls are very different and the story is PEAK. (Hana is best girl. I love those Tsunderes idk why.)

Extremely long shot, but might as well try...

I would like to maybe try my hand at translating this game to Spanish.
Problem is, I have no effin' idea how to do that. The language isn't a problem, I'm fluent in both Spanish and English, but I am utterly clueless as to how to properly do a translation for a Ren'Py VN. Or any other kind of game, really.

By searching around the intertubes, I've:

• Downloaded Ren'Py Launcher
• Let it install its version of VSCode
• Copied "Now and Then" into its folder structure, so that it's able to read it as a project
• Tried (and failed) to use the "Generate Translations" function of Ren'Py Launcher, to generate a "spanish" folder

Everytime I try to do it, I get this error:

But if I try to run the game, it works perfectly fine, so I don't understand why it can't "build" the translation files.

It's probably some super simple stupid crap, but like I said before, I've never done any kind of coding work on... well, anything, so I'm basically flying blind here. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong, please?

Likely, because you need an older version of Ren'Py. This is probably version 7.x.x as the game was finished several years ago. To tell for sure, run the game normally, go to the "about" screen in the main menu and take note of the Ren'Py version.

You were absolutely right, it was as simple as a "version mismatch". Thank you!

Still can't do it properly, because it turns out that the fonts they used doesn't support Spanish accented letters, so... either I try to somehow "inject" the accented letters into the font files, or forcefully change the game to use different fonts. And either of those feel like modifying someone's work against their wishes

As much as I'd love to see them, there aren't any. There are a few unfinished similar games, but I can't even remember their names. The only other zombie apocalypse game with a halfway decent plot that I can remember is "Kindread: The Redburns", but that's also an unfinished game.

also check if the program you use to extract file is up to date. If 7zip, they got an update this month, not sure on other.

For some reason some of the scenes that i unlocked in the gallery went back to being locked. Like the drunk Julie and some of Sydney scenes (yes i know i can unlock them all with a mod, but still).
P.S: was worried it might mess up the game somehow but mc still mentions "Funeral sex" to Sydney even tho it's gone from the gallery, so i assume all is fine

Same as me. Just like Once in a Lifetime from Caribdis, N&T is one of those AVNs that always comes to my mind. Both may be old and some may consider them as "outdated" compared to modern VNs, but they have a special place in my heart.
