shadestealer, what do you mean, they don't work together? Last time I've checked, locale emulator doesn't care about system locale.

Anyway, did you manage to install locale emulator? When you right click the game.exe and choose "Run in Japanese"... what happens? Does it still ask for "2h_020　激しい息切れ.ogg" with a scrambled up name?

Also, in windows control panel > region > administrative > language for non-unicode programs (system locale), what current language is set?

I cheated and put values to 9999 cuz i played the japanese version and I did not understand anything

Yeah I just decided to say fuck it and cheated. That is how you get the good ending defeating the chief and the dragon slayers to get two viagras.
Not much of a good ending though lol

After I installed Japanese as one of my OS languages I don't have any problems with Japanese characters in file names. That might help some of you. As for the game, after first NTR scene one question immediately popped up - in any time of the game - will I have the opportunity to kill that ugly son-of-a-b**** excuse of a king for what he did with my Liese?

First is I am assuming that the chief is the one from your village but I have no idea how you defeat him. Is that even possible?
Second is I loaded a save from here that unlocked all of the scenes but this "good ending" does not seem to show up.

Also unrelated do you get anything for defeating the father of Liesa?

Yes, the chief who fucks your mom is the one you need to beat for the other half of viagra. It is possible, it's just insanely hard, which is fitting since it is the item that makes you not get NTR'd (although the good ending gets you at the very end...). I just cheated to beat him lmao. The good ending doesn't appear in the recollection for some reason. It's always been like that. Not sure why.

You don't get anything special for beating Liese's dad, just scat content.
