One person on Ci-en says his Twitter was deleted. If true, that would be a bad sign. It wouldn't confirm or deny anything about GB dying or living, but it would be a bad sign nevertheless. Post below proves this was a lie.

GB once stated he had various people help him with, among others, Japanase translations, and that he is not Japanese himself. So why the Japanese media would single him out to talk about his death would be a mystery. That, and the fact that NTR Legend isn't exactly a major media production :'D

I have some pretty damn good news. It seems like "johncena420" got his account deleted after getting his comment about Goldenboy's "death" deleted from the comment section. If this was real news, I don't think his comment would have gotten deleted and I searched his user ID and still could not find him through CI-EN suggesting his account was deleted. However, if his death was fake news, then someone probably can still contact Goldenboy in some way or form to confirm or deny the truth. What likely happened is that someone from DLsite knows Goldenboy or one of his team's contacts and they were cross checking johncena420's post to see if it was right. A normal report would've gotten only the comment deleted, but seems like his account is deleted too after the rumor spillage. I think this is pretty good reason to believe that Goldenboy is well alive and just preparing us for a good ol' surprise. He knows he is good and he will prove to the fans before August ends.

Thanks for confirming that his Twitter is still up. So, no confirmation on his death. Japanese media confirming his death seems unlikely since GB stated he is not Japanese, and his Twitter is still up.

Again, doesn't mean this game isn't abandoned, but does debunk or at least discredits a lot of the stuff floating around.

Thanks for posting this here. It doesn't necessarily mean what you conclude though. Someone might have just as easily reported the comment. Ci-En might not want rumors to fly off the handle without any evidence, and ban people for not obeying their code of conduct, who knows.

Again, I still want to hope, and it would be amazing to see an update to this game. The radio silence remains discouraging though.

Couldn't agree more. It's like everything is a sign. Someone says something? Sign that the game is abandoned. Someone says something? Sign the update will come out.

I'm just trying to keep a level head, check for updates/posts regularly (like I've always done in this thread) and see if there is any news worth sharing.

But yeah, all we can do is wait : )

Exactly what I thought when I first heard of this "confirmed death" of GB. I don't mean to sound disrespectful, but come on, people are dropping left and right of covid right now, why in the name of the holy mother of fuck would japanese media decide to announce ON THE NEWS that this one non-japanese developer of a pixelated ero game has died of covid?

On a scale of 0 to bullshit, I'd give this rumour a solid 8.

While we're all waiting... I tried searching but it didn't bring up anything (heck, I might've asked it myself ages ago). Is there a way to edit how much EXP is required for HER to level up? I find she levels up and gets lewd too quickly even without buying anything. I want a slow burn/work at it. I wish there was more reluctance on her part.

Playing this game after months of not playing. Feels good.

(edit: Level 1 is 185 XP. Editing that value can make the first lewd level higher or lower as you wish. I think it scales, though not sure how exactly or value. Also, trash upgrade is broken...? Latest version from OP. Too tired to test stuff, will do later. I doubt it breaks things but if it does I honestly wouldn't be surprised. Trash upgrade on a whole fresh game/folder still causes that issue. Hmm...)

Yes, kind of, the same way to edit the amount of currency, amount of income, time of day, whether or not you own costumes, stamina values. All found in the save data (Save 01 for example) in a ES3 document (Can be opened by Notepad or something similar) that should be found somewhere in the Users/(User name)/AppData[Hidden file]/LocalLow/Golden Boy folder. After opening with notepad search for "Next_Exp" and change the value to whatever you want, "Lv" can be found under it.
