And I stand corrected, that game should not have NTR tag, but only cheating/corruption tag.
NTR is about a feeling of a lover being stolen from YOU, in this case, from US, the MC.
We can't feel that feeling if WE (The MC) are the one that stolen, right? That's just US (THE MC) cheating.

Yeah it really is just cheating, though I love the game, it really does not scratch that NTR itch. A female protag NTR would be having your husband (or whatever) stolen by another woman.

For me netorare is about the process, not the final product (the sex scenes), the latter is just plain cheating or betrayal, but how the heroines succumb to the attacks of their assailants, their development and eventual fall for them is what netorare is to me, especially if the heroines are really attach emotionally to their beloved ones. This experience is enhanced if we (the reader/player) are witnesses of this throught the eyes of the affected ones (the NTR mistery concept), but of course we can also witnesses this throught the eyes of the heroines, but it won't have that much impact imo, so I get the complain of some users.

Now it'd be interesting to see a game where the MC (female) is the affected one, especially a lesbian relationship or something and a crazy lesbian steals your gf from you. In case anyone is curious, I only know 1 doujinshi with this setting:

Personally, I consider a story from the perspective of someone with their lover stolen away and a story from the perspective of someone being stolen away from their lover to both be NTR/netorare, though they're different types of netorare and may be enjoyable in different ways.

One thing I would say is a bummer that except for like 1 or 2 choices and the choice to see something from heroine perspective, the game lacks almost any choices, so it is for the most part a linear rpgmaker game, which tends to be annoying for some.

EDIT: btw, when fullscreened, the textractor window did not show. I used second monitor to view it. I do not know if there is any easy way to solve that. You could just play windowed, but I find that to be very small. Maybe temporarily lowering your resolution so the windowed mode is big enough?

I reviewed this game on dlsite for the developer. Exactly my biggest complaint. His first game, tons of choices. Tons of losing conditions. Second game, a lot less, way more linear. Third game, basically a single choice (Yes or No) for each of the three women. He's getting lazier and lazier. I also found the loli to be not interesting lmao.

I never play h-games with Textractor fullscreened. I just have the translation window covering where the text is for the rpgmaker and have it overlap. It's big enough.

You mean Netorare is about a feeling of a lover being stolen from YOU. NTR is a bad tag. There's netori, which is you stealing someone's bitch. Netorase, which is you baiting your bitch to get stolen. And finally Netorare, which as you said is name of this thread, which is having someone stolen from YOU the MC.

Maybe petition the site developer to fix the tags of "cheating", "ntr" and make it netorare, and netorase , and netori.

Just wanted to second this, shows serious potential. Can't remember the last time a game felt so 'high stakes' to me, the emotional impact was big but WARNING to anyone reading this, the game (home prisoner) has no sexual content yet. It's all set up so far, but imo well worth seeing.

That Home Prisoner game takes forever and consists 98% of cutscenes. Somehow HC2 held my attention for longer in the non-sexual prologue part, probably because it had some mystery and suspense going on. HP is just a family drama for hours. What is the stealer like, or is there one for each family member? Is it going to be drugs, seduction, non-con? I dunno, seems premature to celebrate a NTR game before it actually shows how the dev does NTR.

It has comprehensive information, tags etc about most VNs out there. What I usually do is copy the title in japanese and paste it in sukebei.nyaa.si - a torrent site and download it this way. However, its torrents so be careful... there might be safer ways out there.

Yes, I use textractor with DeepL to translate it, a dude posted a link to the guide how to do it some pages back, it was a reply to me.
